Fur Pelt Faux Leather Body Harness
The king and his men stand over the battlefield. The smoke begins to clear in the valley. Crows circle overhead, seeking to feast on the fresh carrion left in the wake of the carnage. Someone stirs in the gloom. A lone female warrior with a wounded man over her shoulder strides up the hill. Her hair is wild, her face is streaked with blood and soot. She walks to the waiting king and throws the wounded man at his feet. She has captured the king of the neighboring realm. The war is over.
When you think of ancient women warriors there are plenty of women to call to mind, both fictional and historically accurate. There is Boudicca, queen of the Celts, who fought the Roman Empire. There are endless Norwegian shield maidens who terrorized cities all through Europe. There is a Mongolian princess who would only marry a man that could defeat her in wrestling. That's not to mention all the warrior Goddesses in Greek, Viking, and Celtic mythology. Long story short, when it comes to dressing up as commanding warrior women, the sky's the limit. That's why it's nice to have a rugged harness to go with a variety of takes on warrior costumes.
This halter would go with Boudicca's plaid, the armor of a Valkyrie, and the quiver of arrows on the back of a Mongol raider. If you want to be the woman saving the day, whether you're LARPing or dressing up for a party, this halter with faux fur shoulders can serve as a staple for any of the historic women warriors you choose to become. Odin be with you. Now, go get 'em.
