It's made of cheap plastic, bendable.The straps on the under side have pegs that push through to the red side so keep them in place. Well the one I got had pegs that tore through and made bigger holes. At this price we expected cheap material. However, this is surprisingly sturdy. We decided to give it to our 9 year old grandson and he is rough. He is currently playing with it and plans to use it with his costume. Good quality but felt the size was woman sized or a larger child.Was this review helpful to you?
