When you think of professional wrestling, your mind might not automatically turn to hugs and kisses. While the form of “sports entertainment” known as professional wrestling is noted for loud slaps, hard falls, and bulging muscles, it’s also about friendship and alliances. Few WWE superstars can make it on their own, they’ve got to have a partner in their corner who always has their back. And that’s not even mentioning the many, many storylines through the years that have revolved around one wrestler stealing another wrestler’s wife/girlfriend. Love and hate coexist in a weird space in any given wrestling match or backstage promo. For the pro-wrestling fan in your life, give them the gift of a highly specific WWE Valentine’s Day card, featuring their favorite wrestler, past or present.

Krampus reads mean tweets

Long before Ebenezer Scrooge was the name most associated with being a Christmas grouch (we're talking pre-Christian, pagan era long), Krampus was the terror around town. And far worse than being an elderly miser that stamps about muttering "Bah, Humbug," Krampus, the cloven hoofed Christmas demon, will beat you with switches and drag you to hell! As you can imagine, people have been harboring some ill-will toward this creepy character for quite some time now, and it seems that the release of Krampus' recent film has inspired a fresh batch of Twitter trolls to take to the social media network and give this dastardly demon a roast!

Inspired by Jimmy Kimmel's "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" segment, but with a Christmassy twist, we bring you Jimmy Kringle's "Krampus Reads Mean Tweets." Was Krampus a good sport about the mean things people had to say about his film, or do Krampus(s) have feelings to? See for yourself in the video...

Darkwing Duck Halloween Costume DIY

You’re not just an average citizen punching the clock every day. You’re the terror that flaps in the night! You’re the batteries that aren’t included! Sometimes, you’re outwitted by a highly intelligent inverse version of yourself, but you always find a way to prevail for the righteousness of St. Canard. And, of course, you regularly yell out your bone-chilling battle cry, “LET’S GET DANGEROUS!”

Bojack Horseman and Princess Carolyn Couples Costume DIY

What came first, the creepy horse mask or BoJack Horseman? We like to think that's a theological question better reserved for the philosophers. After all, the talking horse has been a bit of a spirit animal in pop culture dating as far back as Mr. Ed and however many tons of peanut butter the poor beast chewed throughout his career. No matter the origins, or our strange fascination with talking horses, the Netflix original hit BoJack Horseman made an immediate impact on an adult-themed cartoon universe. Competing with other big names like Family Guy, Rick and Morty, or really anything else you'll find on Fox or Adult Swim, it's the kind of show that makes immediate sense on an entirely offbeat and sarcastic level.

For anyone unfamiliar with the show, we follow a washed-up, 90s sitcom dad through trial and tribulation as he struggles to find purpose in a world that outgrew the days of cheesy sweaters and soft piano themed "touching moments" wrapped nicely with a 30-minutes-solves-everything bow. (Think of the end of every Full House ever and you get the idea.) Slightly depressed, very foul-mouthed, entitled, and all around lost, you somehow still find a way to love poor old BoJack as he gropes his way through a world that outgrew him, and yet, that desperately hopes he lands back on his feet.

If you are a fan of the show, you just might be considering a BoJack Horseman couples costume this year. But being a human and all, the task may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not, long-faced friend, this BoJack and Princess Carolyn couples costume guide will be sure to give you what you need.

The Banality of Evil Art Series

Evil is the ideal, but life is long and doesn’t always go as planned. It comes with inherent banality; the boredom that fills those long hours in between the next devious plot, slashing, or scare. We’ve all been stuck at the grocery store after working a ten hour night shift and had to wait in line behind the coupon lady as she meticulously counts each penny. We’ve all had to go to our nephew’s birthday party and make small talk when just hours before we took out an entire spaceship full of soldiers with nothing but our face-hugging hatchlings and a little mouth acid. Horror stars are relatable because, in the end, they’re just like us. They have to deal with life as it is, not as it often should be. The classic films capture the terrifying glory of their careers, but what happens when the killing is done and horror stars have to fill their time with the usual fare? This is the rarely seen banal side of evil…
