If you’re throwing a holiday party this year, you have to come up with a fun theme to make the party standout. While traditional holiday parties like cookie exchanges or ugly sweater parties are nice, why not go with something a little less traditional like Krampus holiday party!

Krampus reads mean tweets

Long before Ebenezer Scrooge was the name most associated with being a Christmas grouch (we're talking pre-Christian, pagan era long), Krampus was the terror around town. And far worse than being an elderly miser that stamps about muttering "Bah, Humbug," Krampus, the cloven hoofed Christmas demon, will beat you with switches and drag you to hell! As you can imagine, people have been harboring some ill-will toward this creepy character for quite some time now, and it seems that the release of Krampus' recent film has inspired a fresh batch of Twitter trolls to take to the social media network and give this dastardly demon a roast!

Inspired by Jimmy Kimmel's "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" segment, but with a Christmassy twist, we bring you Jimmy Kringle's "Krampus Reads Mean Tweets." Was Krampus a good sport about the mean things people had to say about his film, or do Krampus(s) have feelings to? See for yourself in the video...

Remember the childhood poem about Little Bunny Foo Foo? He was a fluffy little jerk who would harass all the field mice by bopping them on the heads. Well, karma finally bit Bunny Foo Foo on his furry bottom!

The Good Fairy had enough of his disrespect and she did way more than just turn him into a goon. She took him to her hideaway and The Good Fairy and her magical friends used their wands to cause that bunny bully some serious pain. No one quite knows what happened to Little Bunny Foo Foo; he won't discuss it. We even called The Good Fairy to answer some of our pressing questions regarding the incident, but she hasn't returned any of our calls.

Now Foo Foo spends the majority of his days moping around the briar patch, trying to find a way to keep his eyeball from hanging out of its socket. Has he finally learned his lesson? Only time will tell. We hope, for Foo Foo's sake, that he stays on the fairies' good side!

If you want to concoct your own DIY Bloody Bunny Costume and pay your respects to the former fuzzy tormentor you once sang about...we'll teach you how! Keep in mind, hare today...goon tomorrow!

The Banality of Evil Art Series

Evil is the ideal, but life is long and doesn’t always go as planned. It comes with inherent banality; the boredom that fills those long hours in between the next devious plot, slashing, or scare. We’ve all been stuck at the grocery store after working a ten hour night shift and had to wait in line behind the coupon lady as she meticulously counts each penny. We’ve all had to go to our nephew’s birthday party and make small talk when just hours before we took out an entire spaceship full of soldiers with nothing but our face-hugging hatchlings and a little mouth acid. Horror stars are relatable because, in the end, they’re just like us. They have to deal with life as it is, not as it often should be. The classic films capture the terrifying glory of their careers, but what happens when the killing is done and horror stars have to fill their time with the usual fare? This is the rarely seen banal side of evil…

Cereal-Killers-HEADER.jpg

Classic horror monsters turned cereal mascots, General Mills introduced Count Chocula and Franken Berry back in 1971, followed by Boo-Berry, Fruit Brute, and Fruity Yummy Mummy. No new monster flavor has been introduced since 1987, but what would it look like if they'd continued to expand the line into more recent film horrors? We wondered the same thing, and these 6 brand new cereals emerged...

DIY Bride of Frankenstein

The Bride of Frankenstein has been an iconic Halloween look for decades, although it’s one that relatively few people attempt themselves. Much of that comes from its perceived difficulty, from the dress to the makeup to that elaborate hairstyle. But this DIY experiment doesn’t require an M.D. in Mad Science, and we’ve got everything you need to bring the Bride of Frankenstein costume to life!
