Who doesn't love to attend a costume party once in a while? People love themed costume parties, one of which is a letter party. Maybe it's for someone's birthday or a bachelorette party—even a party that's just for fun among friends is a great time! But what do you do if you pull the letter "Q"? For starters, we will show everyone that we're not quitters! Here is a selection of costumes that start with "Q" to quench your imagination.

Naturally, queen costumes of all kinds will rule as a letter "Q" costume idea. You're more than welcome to go as historical or generic as you want to, of course. Just don't forget to wear a crown!

One of the most famous fictional queens, the Queen of Hearts, is not someone you want to mess with. (She likes threatening to chop off heads and stuff.) However, her costumes are simply fabulous!
3. Quarterback Costumes
It's time for the sports lover to shine! The letter "Q" doesn't appear very often in a costume-worthy way, but you can be a quarterback. If you want to get more specific, you can always get a jersey with your favorite NFL quarterback.
4. Queen Bee Costumes
Every hive has one, and they're always the center of attention. If you want to bring some buzz to the party, dress as a queen bee for the letter "Q". There's also the option to wear a crown or a tiara with your bee costume, so everyone knows what you are!
5. Quidditch Costumes

Quidditch is a sport exclusive to Harry Potter, and thankfully, there's an official uniform, too! Let your nerdy and sporty sides collide by wearing a quidditch costume at the letter party. Maybe you can even get an impromptu game going!
6. Qui-Gon Jinn Costumes
Leave it to Star Wars to give characters unusual names that start with "q' and other lonely letters of the alphabet. While finding an official Qui-Gon Jinn costume may prove difficult, his Jedi attire resembles Obi-Wan Kenobi. Just get a long-haired wig (or your own lovely locks), so there's no question about who you are!
7. Quarter Costumes
If we had a quarter for every time we had an excuse to dress up as loose change, we'd have...one quarter. Okay, maybe this money costume isn't as high-rolling as a $100 bill, but can you stick that in a gumball machine? Or a claw machine at the mall? Quarters are honestly fantastic.

For fans of the extended Harry Potter universe, Queenie Goldstein is a character in the Fantastic Beasts film series. She's kind and empathetic to a fault, temporarily leading her down the wrong path. However, she ultimately wants what's best for everyone, including Muggles and Half-Bloods, which leads her back to the side of good.
9. Quarter Pounder Costumes
Not many foods start with "Q", but we couldn't resist a quarter-pounder with cheese costume. Is it a bit of a stretch, as this is also a cheeseburger costume? Maybe! However, we'd argue that some leniency is warranted. (And who can resist a good burger?)
10. Quartet Singer Costumes
Quartets are generally vocal groups that sing in 4-part harmony, usually acapella. (That would be without instrumental accompaniment.) Probably the most famous of these would be the barbershop quartet. The uniform usually consists of striped shirts or vests with a flat-top straw hat. You can generally find costumes like these in the 1920s costumes, an era when barbershop quartets were very popular!
11. Queen Costume (Freddie Mercury Edition)
"Q" costumes are surprisingly heavy on costumes for women because of all the queen costumes, but there's one Queen costume for men that we couldn't leave out—Freddy Mercury! The iconic frontman for this 1970s rock band left us too early, but the legacy that he left behind still rocks our world.
