Avengers: Endgame came out with a bang, grossing over $1.2 billion worldwide on opening weekend. This made it the biggest worldwide opening over its predecessor Infinity War which held the previous record of $640 million. The release of the final movie in the Infinity Saga brought out many critics in regards to character evolutions, none more so than Thor who undergoes the biggest transformation of all. While some viewed this as hilarious others were outraged by the transformation into Bro Thor, accusing it of fat-shaming. He becomes the butt of many jokes throughout the movie. The Russo brothers and Chris Hemsworth, on the other hand, were delighted in how the character turned out, indicating that they had many conversations about the character arc before production began.

After debuting in early 2015 off-Broadway and transferring to Broadway in August 2015, the hit musical won 11 Tony Awards, a Pulitzer Prize, a Grammy Award, and received an invitation to the White House to perform for President Obama in 2016. It has continued to dazzle audiences on Broadway in Chicago, London, and San Francisco, even going as far as stages for international audiences! We hope these extra productions will bring the ticket price down from the over $1,000 it had been fetching. The election season is upon us and America is full of conflicted voters who have yet to decide if Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump should be our next President of the United States. Clinton, if elected, would become the first female president in history, and Trump would become the first president to come straight from a corner office. In a race this close, the position is anyone’s for the taking right up to Election Day. There are still a few presidential debates between now and then, including another one this Sunday the 9th, that can hopefully make the decision easier on voters come November 8th.
