The 1960's were a tumultuous time in every aspect of world history, and the United States was no exception. One thing that still stands out to this day as a pinnacle was the fashion of that era from the hippies all the way to the White House. There's no better example of a classic style than this incredible iconic pink dress.
You may be too young to remember, but when the First Lady gave a tour of the White House on national television, she caused a sensation. The poise and etiquette she inspired through that program alone began a conversation and obsession with her taste and style. So, get ready to stand by your man and become a symbol of dignity, class, and sophistication when you wear this First Lady Costume.
This lovely pink suit is the epitome of sophisticated, first lady fashion sense. The pullover jacket has mid-arm sleeves and the appearance of six buttons down the front. It's all very 1960's when you throw in the knee-high skirt. Of course, to top it off, the classic, iconic, oh-so-pink pillbox hat is included so you can put the proverbial cherry on top of a near-perfect look from the classic days of yesteryear.
Keep it Classic
While this costume truly speaks for itself in the style and sophistication department, there's always something you can do when it comes to making the most of your costume dress. Add a pearl necklace and a pair of white gloves to complete the vintage look, then dress your date in a John F. Kennedy costume so you and your man can become the "it couple" of the 1960's right here in the twenty-first century.
- Sizing is offBy Anonymous | October 23, 2014This costume is supposed to fit up to size 14-16. I am a 10-12 and can harldy fit into the skirt. I am 5'6" and the skirt hits me 2 inches above the knees. The skirt is paper thin and the hat is flimsy. I am returning the costume immediately. Was this review helpful to you?
