The early settlers to the New World came with some rather … simplistic designs for clothing. I'm impressed with the quality of these shoes, especially being costume shoes. they're a little big for my husband, but nothing insoles won't fix. Would rather be a little big than too small on the feet. Will work perfect for his Billy Butcherson (Hocus Pocus) costume this Halloween! The only thing i would change about these shoes is that the tongue of the shoe should stand up a little more than it does. I ordered these shoes for a pirate costume, and although they look great, but they are too big. The sizing chart isn't specific enough. I'm a 9.5 in US mens, but the sizing chart only gave small, medium, and large. I ordered large to be on the safe side and will have to use fillers and grips to make them fit. I don't want to return them because I'm afraid they'll just end up in a landfill rather than be resold. If you're a US mens size 9.5, I would recommend the medium size for a closer fit. Size LargeThese shoes look nice and are comfortable to wear, but they're difficult to put on. Using a shoehorn is the only way I can get my heel into the shoe.
