The Captain Shanty
Do you have aspirations to captain your own ship? We can totally relate! The freedom of the wide-open seas, no borders, and even the excitement of the periodic storm. It is all so exciting. Unfortunately, it isn't always easy to get your way to the captain's hat very quickly. Now, don't get us wrong. The ability to slink away from the ship during shore leave is pretty amazing... and captains don't often get to enjoy that given the whole 'down with the ship' mentality. Still, being the one issuing the orders sounds pretty great.
That's why we'd like to tell you about the Deckhand Shuffle and the Captain Shanty! Turns out that all you have to do is challenge anyone in a captain's hat to a musical competition and the winner claims the ship! It's a little known rule that goes right along with the Pirate Code of Parlay. So, when you're ready to claim the hat, make sure you've got your heel-clicking dance steps ready and know all the words to your favorite deckhand ditty.
Design & Details
To ensure success in your Deckhand Shuffle, you will want to be dressed to impress. Whether you're a Naval officer or a privateer, you will be sailing to success in this Deckhand Sailor costume. This is a Made by Us design put together in our own in-house studios that will have you feeling like you were born with sea legs. The costume includes a pair of white slacks and a shirt that features the blue and white stripes of an official uniform. The blue tie and sailor hat complete this iconic look. Perfect for convincing officer roles or breaking out into 50s style musical numbers!
