Why are cat costumes so enduringly popular with girls? Because everyone knows dogs are boys and cats are girls. This costume isn’t anatomically accurate though––cats rarely wear skirts when humans are looking. They do that when we go out. And your pearls. They try it all on. Call your friends and hang up.
Any parent of a tween knows they are already standoffish, prone to hissing and only emerge from their room when they hear a tuna can opening, so complete the feline lifestyle with this Tween Grace Kitty Set. She’ll be off the phone and batting around a ball of yarn in no time. You’ll know it’s gone too far when she asks for a litter box in her room and you find her catnip stash. Watch out for dead mice or birds left at your door––don’t get too mad, she thinks she’s leaving you a present!
This Tween Grace City Set is 100 percent polyester tulle, stretch knit and faux shearing. We know it’s realistic, but it’s not made out of real cats. We swear. Stop calling us and asking. The hooded shearling vest is sleeveless––cats hate to be constrained––and has a pink stretch knit undershirt. Think of it like your cat’s pink underbelly, but ask your daughter before you scratch it. Independence is important at this age. Come to think of, that’s probably a good ground rule for scratching everyone’s belly. The layered pink and gray tulle skirt has an elastic waistband, so your girl can fill up on Fancy Feast without needing a new one. The shearling tail attaches to the skirt with Hook and Loop fastener… Hey, that would probably attach to anything you put Hook and Loop fastener on. I’m sure Grace wouldn’t mind if you borrowed it to wear it to work on casual Friday… It just feels right in a way nothing has lately, right?
