
What do you do when you have a big old beard and you’re trying to come up with a Halloween costume with a beard? You use it, of course! Embrace that facial hair and let it be part of your ensemble. There’s no reason you need to shave just for Halloween, just get a costume for dudes with beards and you're set! No matter if you have a little stubble, a fine mustache, a long goatee, or a long flowing beard, there’s a costume choice for you. We spent some time combing through the farthest reaches of the internet for inspiration for all you whiskered gentlemen. (There are only so many times guys with beards can put on a dress for a bearded lady costume!) We're looking to create real Halloween costumes for men with beards! Avengers: Endgame came out with a bang, grossing over $1.2 billion worldwide on opening weekend. This made it the biggest worldwide opening (at the time) over its predecessor Infinity War which held the previous record of $640 million. The release of the final movie in the Infinity Saga brought out many critics in regards to character evolutions, none more so than Thor who undergoes the biggest transformation of all. While some viewed this as hilarious others were outraged by the transformation into Bro Thor, accusing it of fat-shaming. He becomes the butt of many jokes throughout the movie. The Russo brothers and Chris Hemsworth, on the other hand, were delighted in how the character turned out, indicating that they had many conversations about the character arc before production began.

Marvel superhero Thor debuted in 1962, primarily the work of artist Jack Kirby, editor Stan Lee, and scripter (and Lee’s brother) Larry Lieber. While the original costume that they designed (blue armor, red cape, and silver winged helmet) is considered a classic at this point, it’s certainly not the only one Thor has worn over the past 55 years. In this infographic, we show how Thor’s appearance has evolved through many comic trends, while often calling back to archetypal features like his cape or winged helmet. We’ll also take a look at some other characters who were worthy of wielding Mjolnir, whether they were called by the name “Thor” (like Jane Foster) or simply gained his powers (Beta Ray Bill and Throg). So let’s cross the Bifrost Bridge into Asgard and see how Thor has evolved!
