It’s Egg-citing!
For people in some places, Easter marks the beginning of spring. However, since Easter isn’t a set date and depends on things like the lunar cycle, there still might be snow in some areas. Especially here in Minnesota, the combination of Easter having a varied date and unpredictable spring snowstorms means that we can’t really rely on Easter to signify spring, at least when it comes to weather. However, we still love the symbolism of new life, and it gets us looking forward to warmer temperatures. After all, baby animals of almost any kind are adorable, but little bunnies and chicks? They might be the cutest ever! It also makes us think of the time when trees do start to have leaves again and flowers are blooming, which might not be as far away as it feels.
Design and Details
One really fun tradition around Easter time is decorating eggs. We still haven’t quite figured out why a rabbit is said to hand them out instead of a chicken or a duck, but we don’t really ask too many questions when free chocolate is involved. If you’d like to be the one bringing treats this year, you’ll need a bag to carry them.
