Every team of heroes needs the braniac who is ready to solve all the problems. That role is played by Ami Mizuno. Her bright blue hair and fluid approach at solving puzzles are a crucial part of the team. (Plus, her transformation to Sailor Mercury is probably the cutest out of the whole group!) If you're smart—and we know you are—this Sailor Mercury look is for you!
Sailor Mars Costume
Are you tough on evil? (Are you even tougher on your teammates?) Can you take down the forces of darkness even without a transformation? If the sound of that is firing you up, then you are destined for a life as Sailor Mars. This quick-acting hero puts the fire under allies and villains alike, and she even has psychic powers to boot! (Plus, who doesn't like a fiery red dress!?)
Dragon Ball Z Halloween Costumes
When people ask, "What's the most popular anime?" there are always going to be different opinions. But DBZ will consistently rank pretty high up there. Not only does the Dragon Ball series have some of the most iconic animation out there, but these fighters can go for hours, only to evolve into their next form and keep on going! Enjoy years of cosplay fun with our Dragon Ball Z costumes for adults and kids alike.
Goku is pretty much the Superman of the anime cosmos. He started out as a pretty tough kid who had a good heart. He grew up into the strongest man out there, flying, teleporting, and even sporting a power level of over 9000! (And that was all before being a Super Saiyan was a thing.) You can start with some anime costumes for boys and live out child Goku's adventures in the original Dragon Ball or hop in the hyperbolic training chamber with our adult anime costumes. Either way, you are sure to have a great time cosplaying in our many Goku costumes.
What does it take for a villain to become a hero? Well, it often starts with a common cause. You can be sure that DBZ has no shortage of cosmic-powered bad guys, but one of the worst of them learned what it meant to be a hero... eventually. Vegeta is Saiyan through and through, and if you'd love to put your Galick Gun signature technique to the test, he's the guy for you!
Master Roshi Costume
Goku may be among the most powerful fighters in all of the Dragon Ball Universe, and maybe in all of anime. But what about the guy who taught Goku all of his tricks? How about the guy who has mastered the ultimate Kamehameha Wave? Clearly, this epic fighter must be an impressive sight. Well, it's just like Dragon Ball to give Master Roshi an alphabet shirt and a turtle shell!
Saiyans are said to be incredibly powerful due to their bloodthirst for battle. When Gohan shows up, he proves that a calm mind makes it easier to attain Super Saiyan form. With Goku as a dad and Piccolo as a mentor, it is no wonder that Gohan attained the Mystic power, exceeding all others. Gohan ages through the story, so he is a great Dragon Ball Z costume for kids or adults.
Talk about bad guys with a heart of gold! Piccolo started out as one of the main antagonists in Goku's early days. Fortunately, this member of the Dragon Clan joins the heroes in defending Earth and the rest of Universe 7. If you want to blend wisdom, strength, and a truly mysterious past, Piccolo is the only Namekian for the job. (Just prepare for green face paint and flexing!)

Original Pokémon Costumes
There may be about 1000 Pokémon, but some say only the original 151 matter. Among those are the Starter Pokémon from the very first generation. Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur will always have a place in our hearts. (Though Charizard is perfect for a fiery, dragon-like flight!)

Anime Cosplay FAQ
What is cosplay?
Cosplay is a blend of the words "costume play." It's a bit of a mixture of crafting and performance art where 'cosplayers' try to dress up and become one of their favorite characters. Sometimes cosplayers invent whole new versions. (Just imagine a vampire Superman or space-age Wicked Witch.) Cosplayers sometimes make every component of their look by hand and other times piece together a unique look from existing items. The best part about cosplay is that there is no wrong answer. Experiment and become your new favorite character!
Who should I cosplay as?
There are a ton of great characters to become when you cosplay. The key is picking a character who has an iconic style so you'll be recognized in an instant. (That way, if you modify it, folks can still realize who you've invented.) The most popular characters to become are comic book and anime characters, like Harley Quinn and the Joker or the Power Rangers. You can be sure to see a few Sailor Scouts and some video game characters like Ash Ketchum and Link from Legend of Zelda. (Plus, you can’t go anywhere without finding a Deadpool or two!)
How to cosplay:
Your first step will be to find an event. Now, we obviously recommend Halloween as a great place to start, but there are a ton of geeky conventions that are sure to welcome your costume efforts. The next step is to embrace the fact that there aren't any rules for characters. (However, make sure you are up to speed on your convention’s rules about weapons!) No cosplay lawyers or wicked ,a href="https://www.halloweencostumes.com/villain-costumes.html">villains are going to say you can't cosplay as a specific character, even one of a different size, race, or gender. You might work your way up to crafting the whole thing, but most start out with a few modifications or targeted accessories of their favorite characters. Some cosplayers even feel comfort in taking a modern twist by wearing a character mask and a geeky blazer like our Opposuits.
How to style a cosplay wig:
Some of our anime wigs are already styled just like your favorite characters. Others need a little work to give you the look you want to achieve. The first step is to pick a wig that is heat resistant. They may be a little pricier, but these wigs are easier to style and re-use. (You can use rollers and a low-heat blow dryer to style synthetic fibers, too.) Angle a comb and cut upwards to form your bangs and, use heavy-duty styling gel or fabric glue to arrange your spikes as needed. Wide-tooth combs and bobby pins are a must! Remember, you can sew two wigs together or use foam for extra body. (Don't forget faux facial hair—you can style it, too!)
How to do cosplay makeup:
A good foundation and powder are going to go a long way to keep pictures from making you too shiny, so most standard makeup rules apply. Just remember that cosplay means you might be changing up your look to match a wig or costume color scheme. The biggest thing to remember is your eyes! (Especially since anime eyes are usually pretty exaggerated.) Create shadows and depth with eyeliner. You can even use a winged eyeliner technique to give you the illusion of a truly anime look. Check out our makeup options so you'll sparkle!
