The fact is skeletons are cold. Or, at the very least, not warm. They've been totally exposed. Even being buried in a satin-lined coffin doesn't add much in the way of warmth. There's simply nothing as weirdly cozy as the layers of muscle and skin where a skeleton once lived. Yet, at least once in our lives, we choose to transform into a skeleton for Halloween.
