How Do I Determine if a Costume is the Correct Size?

The costume measurements are listed on the product page.  They are the actual measurements of the costume in inches. Please allow room for movement. If in doubt between two sizes, it's usually best to order the larger size.

How Do I Know if an Item is In Stock?

If you can add the product to your cart it is in stock and ready to ship.

If an Item is Out of Stock, When Will it be Back In Stock?

When an item is out of stock, we are unable to give a specific date on when that item will be available.  However, you can be notified by e-mail as soon as the item is back in stock by providing your e-mail address into the "Coming Soon" box on the Product Page.

Can I Get a Catalog?

Do You Have a Price Match Guarantee?

So that our customers have the best shopping experience possible, we do have a price match guarantee.
In order to qualify for the price match the following criteria must be met:
a) The product must be an exact match to the one carried on our site, as well as be in-stock and available for purchase at the website to be matched.
b) Shipping and handling charges and sales tax (if applicable) will be included in determining the price difference.
c) Promotional codes or other discounts from the website to be matched will not be included in determining the price difference.
d) The product must be new and in its original packaging.
e) The website to be matched cannot be an auction site or marketplace including Amazon and Ebay.
f) Item cannot be on a website based outside of the U.S.
g) Does not apply to items on sale, closeout or clearance.

Where do I enter my coupon code?

We don't actually use coupon codes! Our coupons activate when you click on a link, and that's it. No extra work for you. Once the link is clicked, the coupon will automatically be applied at checkout. You'll see a banner at the top of the page announcing your discount, that's how you know it's working! If it didn't appear, go back to the email or source of the discount, and click the provided link again.

Only one coupon may be used per purchase. If you click on one discount link, and then click a different one before checking out, the last clicked discount will be the one applied to your order.

Note that we aren’t always affiliated with external websites that claim to have coupons for our website. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

If I Place My Order Today, When Will I Receive It?

During October, we ship all orders placed before the cutoff times displayed here on the SAME DAY! From November to September we ship all ground orders placed before Noon (CST) and express orders before 3pm (CST) the SAME DAY! We want to provide you with the fastest shipping possible. Specific receive by dates are listed next to all of the shipping options in our shopping cart.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes. We ship to over 200 countries. To see our list of countries you can add your item(s) to the shopping cart and then select your country under shipping information. Delivery time normally takes 3-10 business days. HalloweenCostumes.com is not responsible for packages delayed by customs.

Duties and Taxes:

Your package may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. You are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and clearance fees imposed on your package, along with any additional handling fees assessed by the delivering carrier. If for some reason your package is released to you without payment for the custom/duty charges and your custom charges are billed back to us, we will charge your credit card for the amount due.

By accepting your package(s), you are giving us the right to charge your credit card for any taxes and duties imposed by your government.

Do You Ship to Military Addresses?

Yes. All orders will be shipped through the US Post Office. Delivery times will vary based on the final military destination.

What Happens When My Address Has to be Changed?

Packages that are shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer during the order process will be subject to an additional $14 charge if the address must be changed by the carrier in order for the package to be deliverable.

Yes, Schools and Non-Profit organizations in the United States may fax in purchase orders with the information below to 507-386-0517. Please call to verify that we received your fax.

  1. Place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) of equal or greater value and return the item(s) you have already received.  This is to ensure the desired item(s) are in stock by the time we receive your return.

How do I return my order?

Returns must be postmarked the first business day after your event. You (the customer) are responsible for shipping both ways.

Do I need to clean my costume or tuxedo after using it?

Reasonable wear to the items are to be expected and accepted. We will clean the item when it is returned. If items require additional scrubbing there will be a $25.00 scrubbing fee. If we are unable to get an item clean it will be considered damaged. DO NOT try to clean the item yourself. Some tuxedos and costumes require special cleaning procedures and may be damaged by incorrect cleaning.
