Marie Antoinette Mask
Marie Antionette was the last queen of France and remains the first queen of parties. During her reign she mastered the art of dressing lavishly on a day to day basis. When it came to parties, she really took the cake. We're talking about the lady who had a model naval ship installed in her wig. Her royal story may not have a happy ending, but we still find it irresistible to channel as this chic queen when we're dressing to the nines.
When going out as Marie Antionette, try and make her proud. Don't skimp on the details, she never would have dreamt of it. She would have made sure all her garments were there and lushly adorned, from the jewels in her ears to her hand painted silk socks. She would have worn a mask to masquerades, the theater, and when she was half-heartedly going incognito. Make sure you have the accoutrement you need to keep yourself mysteriously aloof. Marie would have approved of this mask with it's lush feather plume, the glitter and gold detail, and the metallic braiding along the sides. Get ready to party like Marie Antionette. Let them eat cake!
