Pumpkin Spice It Up!
What’s the best way to add some excitement to a decoration or a piece of clothing? Use a pattern! There are so many to choose from. You could have polka dots, stripes, plaid, floral, zigzags, houndstooth, or argyle. (Where did some of those names come from, anyway?) You can also imitate our furry friends with tiger stripes or leopard spots, or you could choose from the scaly patterns of alligators or snakeskin. Another popular pattern is herringbone. It got its name because it looks similar to the skeletons of small fish, which we think is both cute and creepy!

It’s an adorable gourd that has a nice little twist without being obnoxious. The stem adds a little realism without the risk of a stinky mess a week after the holidays. (Although we’re still a little creeped out by the fish skeleton thing…)
