Up Your Pumpkin Game
Admit it: One of the best things about carving a jack o' lantern is trying to outdo your neighbors. It's fun to casually set out your masterpiece where it can vie with the gourd across the street for the unofficial Coolest Pumpkin Ever award. But what if your pumpkin turns out to be a dud? If your knife slips, or your chosen canvas gets moldy before you can hack into it, what do you do?

- Rotting pumpkin looks cool, but feels very cheapBy PhiliPro | August 6, 2023
Very cheaply made pressed styrofoam jackolantern. What makes this more than junk is the technique they used to "corpse" the outside. It looks like rotting flesh on a pumpkin - pretty cool effect. This is not a high quality item. The stem is hot glued into the top and with the foam being so brittle it wiggles like it wants to just fall off. The overall paint job has a metallic gold look to it. Not sure why they did that instead of orange.
Great idea and really cool sculpt, but the execution is less than impressive.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Daniel BBy Looks great | September 11, 2026
Just let me start off by saying this is foam and is very light. But pumpkin and the coloring looks excellent. The only thing I would like to see is an upgrade that uses a rechargeable battery or a usb plug and would happily pay more for that option. Definitely would buy again.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Looks better in the pictureBy Brandon Savisky | October 11, 2025
