When we hear that being a cowboy is tough, we believe it. Cowboys put a lot on the line making sure their cattle get from point A to point B safely, but it’s worth it because steaks are delicious. Fortunately, cowboys’ clothing makes their important mission a little more bearable. It’s not hard to guess why hats with giant brims are handy when you’re outside all day. But did you know that chaps do more than just look cool? They provide protection against thorns, cactuses, and prickly sagebrush. And vests not only gave cowboys a little protection from the chill air on the range, but also much needed pockets for jerky, tobacco, and other frontier comforts.

Bought four different costumes to make sure one would be OK, and this was the one I went for. BUT a couple of buttons on the chaps and vest fell of easily for no reason so I needed to secure them to costume. Smells a bit strong like I guess this faux leather probably does. I also bought the "Cowboy Duster Coat" which I combined with the chaps and west costume. They match quite okay even color and brand are not exact the same. The coat has a different look then on the picture. Vest could have been a bit larger, but I liked this costume even the buttons fell off. I give it 4, but could probably give 5 compared to other costumes. I recommend this one.Was this review helpful to you?
