Rip open the foil. Smell that? That's fresh cardstock and pure fear. The new Halloween animatronics for 2026 include a 12-foot scarecrow, a 10-foot circus fire-eater named Blazing Balthazar, Craggoth the Demon Gargoyle with flapping wings, and an officially licensed Joker from Batman: The Animated Series. All 13 in this pack are HalloweenCostumes.com exclusives, and each one now has its own collectible card!
Welcome to the first edition of HalloweenCostumes.com Animatronic Cards. It's a 13-card set, and every card stars one of our brand-new Halloween animatronics for 2026. We gave each monster its own art, its own type and a full stat line, just like the cards you used to guard in a binder (and maybe still do). Here's the catch. This is a limited first print run. No reprints. No trades with your little brother. Just 13 monsters, ranked, rated and ready to haunt your house. So, which one is your rare pull? Let's find out.
New Animatronic Decorations for 2026
Our 2026 animatronic lineup runs from a 3-foot dragon head you control yourself to a 12-foot scarecrow that towers over the porch. Every one of them is a HalloweenCostumes.com exclusive. Many are Made By Us originals, designed by our own product development team in Minnesota. That's a lot of monster. So we did what any good collector would do. We sorted them, gave each one a type and a rarity, and printed their stats right on the card. Just like your favorite CCG, each card has its unique details. Its name, a flashy power move or two, its height, type, and artwork. Do we have a game in mind? Well, we're still working on that.
One more thing. Every card in this set shares the same weakness: water. All 13 animatronics are built for indoor use or a covered outdoor spot, like a porch or garage. Outdoors, they need a GFCI outlet. Most of them also work with a step pad (sold separately), so guests trigger the scare themselves. Got it? Good! Time to open the pack!
Soul Snatching Clown
Your first pull is a classic for a reason. The Soul Snatching Clown stands almost 7 feet tall and smiles like he already knows your name. His yellow eyes glow. His hands glow. And that balloon glows brightest of all, because it's holding a soul he just snagged. When guests walk by, his head turns to follow them. His mouth moves as he speaks, then he cuts loose with a laugh that hangs in the air. Spooky background sounds play the whole time he's switched on, so the mood never drops. He's creepy. But he's not the only one who ran away from the circus.
Blazing Balthazar
Here's your first Legendary pull, and he's a big one. Blazing Balthazar is a 10-foot circus fire-eater who's been practicing his act a little too long. His red eyes burn. His torch flickers. And when he lifts that torch to his mouth, the show really starts. Balthazar sways from side to side and sweeps about 8 feet across, so give him room. He talks, he laughs, and he plays circus music while he works. Pair him with the Soul Snatching Clown and your yard turns into the best-worst big top in town.
Colossal Scarecrow
This is the tallest card in the set. The Colossal Scarecrow stands 12 feet tall, holds a giant scythe and stares down with glowing red eyes. A light glows deep in his chest, like something is burning inside all that straw. His jaw moves when he talks, and his laugh carries across the whole yard. We built him with our friends at Tekky. He ships in two boxes and comes with tether lines and eight ground stakes, so he stays standing tall when the fall wind picks up.
Dead Squad Debbie
Debbie never missed a game. Not even after she died. Now Dead Squad Debbie is back on the sidelines with her pom-poms up and her jaw flapping, cheering for a team that's been gone a long, long time. Her arms pump the pom-poms while she groans out a cheer. Her eyes light up. Behind her, you'll hear a whistle, a crowd that sounds a little too hungry and music that makes you want to run (away). She's just over 5 feet tall, so she fits on a porch, in a hallway or at the end of the driveway.
Potted Predator
Not every monster has a face. Some have teeth and leaves. The Potted Predator is a 6-foot carnivorous plant with glowing yellow-orange eyes and a serious appetite. When it strikes, its head stretches up to about 82 inches and leans out a full 3 feet toward whoever got too close. Its leafy arms spread wide while its hands reach in and out. Listen closely and you'll hear crows cawing, deep breathing, a low growl and then... a crunch. Nobody knows what made that crunch. Nobody wants to know.
Ripsaw
Every haunt needs a slasher, and Ripsaw is ready to work overtime. He's 6.5 feet tall to the top of his saw, with a battered mask, wild hair and hooked chains hanging from his gear. His eyes flash through the mask. His breathing is heavy. And that blade never stops spinning. Ripsaw twists at the hip from side to side, so he can lock on to guests coming from either direction. We built him with Tekky, and it shows in the details. Hide him at the end of a dark hallway and let the sound of that saw do the rest.
Sabrina the Fortune Teller
Step right up and cross her palm with silver. Sabrina the Fortune Teller sits inside a 6-foot cabinet with woodgrain sides and a fancy gold frame, just like an old boardwalk arcade machine. Her eyes glow. Her crystal ball glows. And her fortunes are never good news. When you walk up, her head turns, her mouth moves and her hands lift over the ball. Each fortune is a few sentences long, backed by eerie music, a distant howl and a cat that sounds a little too close. She has a motion sensor built right in, so no step pad needed. Combo play: Set Sabrina next to a friend wearing our Arcade Fortune Teller Machine costume and let guests guess which one is real.
The Kill Crane
Everyone knows claw machines are rigged. The Kill Crane is rigged against you. This 5-foot-8 claw machine is stuffed with a ball pit, and something lives at the bottom of it. The crane swings side to side while circus music plays. Then the "prize" pops up to say hello. It has five different things to say, all a few sentences long, plus a laugh you'll hear in your sleep. Its eyes glow and the cabinet lights up, so it looks just like a real arcade game from across the room.
Lorelai the Librarian
Shh. Lorelai the Ghostly Librarian is still on shift. She's been on shift for a very, very long time. Her eyes glow a pale white. A candle flickers in her hand as she slowly sways it back and forth. And the book she's holding glows, too. Lorelai is the gentle one in this pack. She speaks three phrases over soft music, and that's when the red glow in her chest shows up. She's perfect for an indoor haunt, a spooky reading nook or a hallway where guests don't expect a ghost to be checking them out. Combo play: Build her a whole haunted library with our Arcane Library set picks.
Craggoth the Demon Gargoyle
Half stone gargoyle. Half ancient demon. All bad attitude. Craggoth stands 7 feet tall in a tattered robe, with molded claws and glowing orange eyes that look like coals in a fire. When he spots you, his head turns, his mouth moves and those huge wings start to flap. He speaks a warning, then laughs like he's been waiting a long time for company. Eerie music plays under it all. Put him at the top of the stairs or right by the front door, where his wings can really spread out.
Howling Werewolf
This card has the most moves in the whole set. The Howling Werewolf is 7 feet of fur, fangs and very bad timing. He's still wearing the torn shirt and ripped jeans from before the change, and he is not happy about it. His head swings, his jaw snaps and his arms lift up and out. Then his whole body tips back and comes right at you. His eyes light up while he howls and growls. His sensor can spot guests up to 6.5 feet away, so he's already turning toward them before they see him.
Blue Dragon Actormatronic
Meet the co-op card. An Actormatronic is part animatronic, part puppet. The Blue Dragon is a big 3-foot dragon head on a sturdy frame, with a fabric backdrop that hides whoever is running the show. Its red LED eyes glow, and it has built-in sound with its own volume control. The moves are all yours. Use the lever to make it lunge at trick-or-treaters, peek around the door or bow to the brave ones. Add a fog machine (sold separately) and it looks like smoke is curling out of its jaws. It's the best pick for anyone who wants to be part of the scare, not just watch it. Combo play: Bring a friend and two dragons with our Dire Dragon Actormatronic, too!
Batman: The Animated Series Joker
Of course the last card is the Joker. This is the officially licensed DC Joker from Batman: The Animated Series, the 1992 cartoon a whole generation still loves. He's 6 feet 3 inches tall, with the purple suit, the orange shirt, the wide-brimmed hat and that unforgettable grin. His head turns to scan the room. His card arm swings out like he's offering you a deal. He's got five multi-sentence phrases plus a laughing track, so every guest gets a different show. He's the ultimate pull for Batman fans, comic collectors and anybody who grew up on after-school cartoons.
HC Headquarters Experience Event
Shop the scenes: Funhouse of Horrors | The Mausoleum | Arcane Library | All HQ Experience sets | Balrog
Want to see our animatronics in person? On August 29, 2026, more than 500 creators, customers and Halloween fans got the chance at our first HalloweenCostumes.com HQ Experience in North Mankato, Minnesota. The tour had more than 40 stops, from the Product Development floor all the way to our warehouse. The big highlight was the Animatronic Gallery. That's eight full scenes packed with moving, talking monsters, including the Funhouse of Horrors, The Mausoleum, the Arcane Library and the Underground Sewer.
Then things got huge. Our nearly 14-foot Lord of the Rings Balrog, the largest licensed animatronic we've ever made, towered over the warehouse. And at the after-party, we pulled back the curtain on a surprise: Brundlefly from The Fly (1986). Get the full behind-the-scenes story in Inside the HalloweenCostumes.com HQ Experience.
More and More Animatronics: Halloween Animatronics FAQ
What is the tallest new Halloween animatronic for 2026?
The Balrog is the tallest animatronic, yet, standing nearly 14 feet tall thanks to its fiery mane. It was a special show in our HQX Event, though the Colossal Scarecrow and Blazing Balthazar come in at a close second, especially since the ringmaster sweeps about 8 feet side to side. Measure your space before you order, since both need lots of headroom.
Can I put Halloween animatronics outside?
Yes, but only in a covered spot. All 13 animatronics in this set are made for indoor use or covered outdoor areas, like a porch or carport. They must stay dry, and outdoor use needs a GFCI outlet. Bring them inside if rain or snow is on the way.
What is an Actormatronic?
An Actormatronic is part animatronic, part puppet. Instead of moving on its own, a person stands behind a backdrop and controls it by hand. Our Blue Dragon Actormatronic uses a lever with hand grips, so you can make the 3-foot dragon head lunge, turn and bow at guests in real time.
How do motion-activated animatronics work?
Most of our animatronics have a motion sensor mode. Many start up when a guest steps on a step pad (sold separately), while others, like Sabrina the Fortune Teller, have a sensor built in. Most also come with a try-me button and volume control, so you can test the scare and set the noise level.
