So, you woke up one day and thought, "You know what I'd like to be? A walking pile of hay with a need for a brain and a flair for interpretive dance." Good news: the Men's Wizard of Oz Scarecrow Costume is here to help you live your best brainless fantasy, complete with a diploma to prove you tried. He's the most loveable klutz in Oz, and now, he's you.
Design & Details
Officially licensed, the olive green shirt has a sewn-in rope belt and straw-like raffia fringe at the cuffs. It fastens at the neck with hook and loop strips, no buttons required. The brown pants have an elastic waistband and appliqued patches. Pants are cut to a standard length, so wearers over 5'11" may want to size up for extra length, the raffia at the ankle hides a shorter hem well if you don't. All raffia straw accents are sewn directly onto the shirt and pants, nothing loose to lose track of.
Top it off with the soft burlap-look hood, which has an elastic neck band, and the pointy brown hat with a rope band. You'll also get your diploma, a cardboard scroll tied with a red ribbon. Pair it with brown gloves and boots (sold separately) to complete the look.
Care & Fit: This is a lightweight costume built for occasional wear rather than daily use, spot clean as needed.

Height 6'0" | Weight 160 | Size MediumI got many compliments on this costume. It works well and is not scratchy. The burlap head/neck cover started unraveling at one seam the second time I wore it but that sort of added to the scarecrow look. Pair it with a pair of leather gardening gloves and some work boots and you're good to go. If you're over 5'11" I'd say make sure you order up a size, as the pants aren't very long. I'm 6'0" and thin and the Medium fit well except for the length of the pants, where it was sort of short, but that's disguised pretty well by the fake straw at the bottom of the pants. The sleeves were super long but adjustable with the wrist ties so that worked great.
