A lot is happening in Spider-Punk's overall design, but don't let that stop you from making your own Spider-Punk costume! There are quite a few items here that you may need to salvage from your closet or find at a thrift store, but we never said it was easy to be this cool. Using a Spider-Man costume as a base (make sure it's not one of those padded muscle suit ones), throw on a distressed blue t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a black vest. Add studs, patches, and chains as desired. Get a studded collar and wrist cuffs too, and don't forget a guitar! If you can find tall red boots and sub in some blue laces, you're well on your way to a superior Spider-Man cosplay. The spiked Spidey mask may be hard to find, but you can also try making your own spikes with gray or silver vinyl and carefully sewing them onto your mask. This DIY Spider-Punk costume may make you feel cool, but don't forget that you were cool this whole time.

Not all Spideys get equal screen time, and that's ok! (And with so many, that would be impossible.) Spider-Cop is a fun cameo in Across the Spider-Verse, and also a relatively easy cosplay idea. Put a royal blue polo over a light blue long-sleeve t-shirt, and you're already most of the way there. With a pair of navy blue pants, a police badge, and a cop belt, it's all coming together! Then find a Spider-Man mask and gloves to seal the deal. Just make sure they're size-appropriate whether you're making this a child Spider-Man costume or if it's for an adult. For anyone who wants their Spider-Cop costume to be based on the original comic book version of the character, use the entire cop costume, a hat, cop shades, and a mustache glued to your mask. Either way, you will rock this costume at your next comic con or costumed event!

Spider-Man is a notoriously difficult character to cosplay from scratch because of the intricate suit designs, but this alternate universe character may be the easiest one yet! Meet Bombastic Bag-Man, a character who goes all the way back to 1984. Granted, his comic book counterpart wore a spare Fantastic Four suit that Sony couldn't use due to copyright, so they gave him a blank blue jumpsuit instead. Finish it off with Spider-gloves and a paper bag, and you may want to wear a mask if you're a stickler for the red collar under the bag. Just make sure to test your eye holes in the bag before wearing this one out because you want to be able to see! You can always make the blue zentai suit into a Fantastic Four uniform and add a taped "kick me" sign on the back if you prefer the original design from the comics.

Not only is a werewolf Spider-Man a great costume idea for comic cons, but it's also excellent for Halloween! We highly suggest getting a base Spider-Man costume that you can cut and rip without the stuffed, padded muscles. (Otherwise, you'll have a messy poly-fil explosion!) You also need werewolf costume accessories, including a mask, long gloves, and a tail in matching colors. We decided to go with a brown werewolf to match the character spotted in Across the Spider-Verse, but you might find it easier to use gray werewolf accessories if they're easier to find. The costume tail usually has a belt loop attachment, so you will want to wear a belt under your Spider-Man suit and cut out a hole for the tail.

The Scarlet Spider has to be one of Spider-Man's most 90s alter-egos. (And also another one of the easiest to cosplay, right up there with the Bombastic Bag-Man.) Get a red Morphsuit and a blue hoodie you don't feel attached to, and you're most of the way there. Use black fabric paint for the spider on the hoodie after you distress it, and you'll also want to add eyes to your mask. We recommend cutting and sewing in new stretch white eye fabric and outlining the seams with black fabric on top. Using fabric paint for the mask may obscure your vision or crack on the stretchy material. Top it off with a utility belt, and you'll feel ready to save the day!

Is your day-to-day routine filled with boring corporate attire? It's time to put your suits to use with this Spider-Therapist costume! All you need is a basic gray suit with a white undershirt, a Spider-Man fabric mask, and a pair of glasses. However, if you really want to commit to the bit, get a lined yellow paper pad and brown loafers. You'll be ready for any other Spider-Man to sit on your couch in no time flat! (Bonus points if you can track down a Spider-Man tie!)

Who would Spider-Man be without a nemesis? With the abundance of new Spider-characters about to infest local comics conventions, go as the Spot, and you'll be included in everyone's photos. All you really need is a white zentai suit and black fabric paint. (Remember that it's essential to put cardboard or something inside your costume when painting your spots so they don't bleed through!) You can use either fabric spray paint, liquid fabric paint, or acrylics mixed with fabric medium—whatever you prefer! Get out there and get spotted as the Spot.
