This hat is way too big!

I bought this hat to wear at a costume party and it's way too big! I'm a petite female so I assumed that it didn't fit due to my size but my brother and my father tried the hat on and it was way too big for them too. Disappointed that the hat is actually an over-sized hat and this was not mentioned in the item description.
