We knew we wanted to be the Sanderson Sisters last year. SO we started our hunt for the perfect costume. WELL I could not have been more SATISIFIED. This costume was EVERYTHING. The material was Beautiful and very comfortable. I did order up 2 sizes but that's jus for me. My 2 sisters also ordered there from this site as well. Now I must shop for next year... Height 6’ | Size 3XOverall this was a great buy. It looked beautiful on. Fit like a glove. Etc etc. however, if I’m spending nearly $300 on something, I expect top of the line quality. And this costume missed the mark. A clasp at the wrist of the overcoat was broken. Sheer fabric was a frayed mess. The tassels are poorly attached and continuously were coming off. The hem of the dress didn’t exist. It was just raw edged fabric left to fray over time. I was able to fix (for the most part) what issues I found. But only because I’m creative and capable. Your average Joe would be furious. I can’t say that I would recommend this to a friend because the price is way over the top for the low quality of product.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Height 5' 7"I absolutely love this costume it is very well made and even though the sleeves are Frayed it adds character too the Costume. I wore this for our Main Street festival in our city and had so many people come up to me and ask to take pictures. Height 6 "2" | Weight 252 | Size 2XOkay so for starters this costume was kicked out of the ball park! Its amazing I have both this one and the Deluxe version from Spirit Halloween and this is so much better! Its two pieces, the ruffle total blue center is amazing, the snake brooches, its heavy and that means warm. Its stretchy and super comfortable on without clothes. I ordered a size up at 2X and I really didn't have to a 1X would have worked perfectly but now if i wanted to add some layers I can. The material its made with is very sturdy and not cheap you absolutely get what you pay for. Did I mention the wig?? Its the best one I've seen out there now I want the Sarah Sanderson one. Height 5'7" | Weight 260 | Size 4XTHIS RUNS LARGE! I usually wear 4x and sized up one size as usual because costumes seem to always run small. Not this one!! I got it and it was huge! Due to a time crunch I couldn't return it and had to have it altered. The quality was decent. I was pleasantly surprised! The hook detail was nice and the sleeves were a bit over the top but true to the movie detail !!! I'm 5'7" and it dragged on the ground some. It was really fun!
Now the wig...ugh... toss it. The wig that came with this was absolutely awful! It was a terrible wad of cheap plastic thread. I got the Disney Winifred Sanderson costume and it is gorgeous! I love it! It is well worth the money. I bought the suggested upgraded wig too and it was also worth it. I didn't even realize that the costume came with a wig . The wig that came w/ it was ok but the upgraded wig is so much better. I wear a 2x-3x but I bought a 4x. It's a bit roomy, I could have gone smaller but didn't want to chance it being too small. I ordered according to the measurements, not dress size, and although a little big, it wasn't by much and it looked great! Need to do some hemming but the costume is the best so far for Winifred that I've seen. The costume arrived with the jewel clasp broken. Instead of going through the hassle of returning and ordering another one, I just joined the two jewel pieces together with some wire. The cape is heavy and would be great for someone who lives in cooler weather, but I live in Florida and it will be hot. The wig was a mess, but I will work on trying to fix it also. This design looks correct until you get to the back of the outfit. Winifred dress does not have a dove on the back of it but serpents. Sorely disappointed at this huge design. Flaw. Height 5'1" | Size 2XPros: heavy, warm enough for cooler fall weather. Fabric quality is good. True to size, measure yourself!
Cons: None of the raw edges are finished, so they are unravelling right out of the box. The gathered purple fabric is sew unevenly on the front of the dress, so it bunches & sags oddly. The wig is a fuzzy, nappy, misshapen mess, so no chance fixing it. Dress is VERY LONG. If you aren't at least 5'7, you're going to chop off most of the design work on the bottom. The embellishments are cheap cast metal, expect them to break easily.
Summary: Plan to put in a lot of work fixing things if you don’t want to have the costume ruined after 1 wear. If you're short, it's not for you. Height 5’The metal clasp was broken on the jacket, the sheer material on the arms began unraveling/ shredding on the edges, and the wig was such a bunched up ratty mess that couldn’t be shaped right. Beautiful jacket otherwise. Since the wig was unusable, I opted for a different costume completely. Company gave me 20% off since no substitute was available.
