Keeping it Merry
It's really quite a wonder that Robin Hood's crew took on the name "Merry Men" for themselves. They had rather rough lives as outlaws, constantly on the run from the Sheriff of Nottingham and his men. They also had to worry about Prince John and his nefarious schemes. They're always risking life and limb to provide relief to the downtrodden by stealing from the rich and giving to the poor! Maybe it's their hats...
