This officially licensed toddler Spider-Man costume is designed to capture the iconic superhero look in adorable, web-slinging style. The jumpsuit features all-over printed graphics, muscle padding in the chest and shoulders, and a comfy elastic waist in the back. Hook-and-loop fasteners make dressing easy, even when your little hero is already mid-battle with the dog.
The matching felt-backed mask features an elastic band and covers the upper half of the face, helping your kiddo instantly transform into New York's smallest protector. For sizes 12/18 months, there's even an inseam opening with hook-and-loop fasteners for quick diaper changes (because every superhero needs a quick-change option).
The Adventures of Spider-Kid
Lucky for everyone involved, this costume won’t actually give your child any superpowers, so he may have to put the wall-crawling and web-slinging on hold until you can find a radioactive spider that will give him some superpowers. Also, the face mask allowed him to breathe easily and eat candy while out and about. It’s perfect for your little guy. We got a ton of compliments and the boot covers really set it off! The body is too short it rides up, the legs are too short his ankles are totally exposed, and was difficult pulling up over his shoulders. My kid is not enormous, actually quite thin. The sizing of this costume is way off, and did not even come close to fitting our 4 year old. We ordered the Small, 4-6 size. It is closer to a 3T Toddler Size. Additionally, the photos in the listing of this costume show gloves and boots, yet those items were not included in the package. If it weren't for the sizing issues and the fact that the photos are completely misleading, this costume would be fine. For my average sized 3 almost 4 year old, I first ordered the 3T - 4T, and that was too small. It was cute so I decided to order the next size up, 4 - 6, which was also too small. The size was very off. My 4 year old is just moving up from size 3T to 4T so I ordered him the 4T. It is so small, it fits my 2 year old instead. Let me start by saying that I ordered a size 4-6 and it looks more like a 3T. It is ridiculously small. Yes, I did follow the measurements do I do not know how or where we went wrong. The costume is non refundable so I am losing $40. The return policy is ridiculous. You have to pay an 18% restocking fee plus $7 for shipping. I will never buy anything from this site again. Size Small (4-6)This costume is really cute, and my son loves it and wants to wear it all the time. I like that the mask is a half mask-great for toddlers who don't like things on their heads or fully covering their faces. The costume I got had velcro instead of a hook and loop closure, but not a big deal. Quick shipment, and very happy that the company was able to ship to us overseas on a military post, which alot of retailers don't do. My only issue is with the sizing. I was a little confused with the size options, but that may just be me. I have a really tall almost 3 year old, so I ordered the size 4-6, thinking that is the ages that it was for. The packaging states that the size 4-6 is meant for children 3-4 years old. Height 36 in | Weight 40lbsBesides this set being notably used, repackaged and then set to us, I was able to clean it up decently well and repair the rips and fabric balling for inside play in the future, but I'm disappointed that this oversight was not caught and it was not in new condition. The costume fit fairly well for my tall toddler (4.5 yrs) with the last few inches of his legs uncovered but wasn't big enough for any layering besides regular indoor clothing underneath. I would highly suggest sizing up a level if you need to wear warm clothing underneath for trick-or-treating at night. Note that this set does NOT come with gloves or boot covers, it is just the padded chest and shoulders and thin arms/legs shell with an over-eye mask. I liked that it was not a full face mask (easier to breathe).
