Design & Details
Measuring 15 inches tall and 22 inches wide, this officially licensed Ghostbusters prop brings everyone's favorite shrieking trash goblin to life. Molded from plastic and sculpted to perfection (well, slimy perfection), Slimer attaches via two strings to poles, trees, or whatever you have sturdy enough to handle his ghostly commute. Once rigged up, he glides side to side like he’s late for haunting practice.
But wait—he doesn’t just glide. Slimer lights up and lets out his unmistakable ghost sounds, turning your yard into a one-ghoul light show. The on/off switch is easy to flip when it’s time to power down the mayhem. Just pop in 3 AA batteries (sold separately), and he’s ready to ride.

I ordered one and it stopped moving after 2 minutes. The line was taught and level between two trees. Company sent me a replacement and same outcome after making some adjustments. This prop needs some engineering work.Was this review helpful to you?

Slimer worked great. Very cool decoration for about a week.
Normal batteries drained in about a day. Went through six before moving onto lithium batteries. Those lasted at least four days. Then the but happened, rain day. Slimer is not water tight. It had lots of water in it and stopped working. Replacement batteries did not fix the issue. Some of the screws have also started to rust. It’s only been up for about a week at this point.
I dumped out a couple of inches of water.
Hoping it will eventually dry out and start working again. Then will cover the speaker and battery box with clear tape to block out what looks like the entry point.
Thinking about getting a replacement and doing that modification, because when it worked it was a sweet decoration. Now it’s just another prop.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Slimer! First, no one told me there would be math involved to make sure he's up and level! After that tussle, he was easy to get up. Great product! It is bright and the sound is loud enough to hear. It is sound activated, so loud cars going by would activate it. We have to clap pretty close to it to get it to activate. Recently we had a bunch of storms, so it did take on some water which weighed it down on the line. We turned it over and drained the water out. The battery pack was air tight, so no water got in there which is great. I would recommend this to anyone! The only wish that I would have is that you could turn him on with a timer feature, so he would work constantly when it's dark outside. I have purchased many amazing things from halloweencostumes.com over the years and will continue to do so, but for the price, this one falls short I'm afraid. I read every FAQ and review. Line as taught as possible without breaking.... Perfectly level,,,, No wind or other outside forces... There is simply no way to keep it from bouncing, which causes it to stop, reverse direction, etc. Not once have I had it go from end to end successfully, I truly do not believe there is anything wrong with it. I agree with many commenters that there are simply inherent design flaws that prevent it from working as the designers intended. One additional nit... Volume. If you are using this inside you have to turn the sound off. The line is level and tight. As he moves he bounces. The bouncing builds up and he turns around. He moves less than three feet.
