Many horror movies depend on a villain—or villains—to provide the scares. Big-name slashers like Freddy Kreuger, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, and more are often the first horror movie villains to come to mind. However, we can't forget our villainous women in horror! In some ways, they can be more terrifying than the men. Whether you're looking for your next Halloween costume idea or horror movies to watch, here are our picks for the scariest female horror movie villains.
For the purposes of this list, we include women, girls, feminine dolls, and female creatures.
