The bodice of the dress is designed to look like overalls and a peasant-style blouse. The blouse portion is red-and-white vertically striped poly interlock knit. There is a V-neckline that is edged with black ribbon and a double ruffle of white poly knit mesh. There are faux suspender straps from each shoulder to the top of the overall portion; each is anchored with a large white button. The short, puffy gathered sleeves have an elasticized ruffle at their bottom edges. The dress closes with a back zipper.
