Rockin' in Red

You know what? There are some unsung heroes we'd like to discuss. Well, heroines, actually. Rockabilly girls knew how to have fun in a sweater-loving, buttoned-up society. There were so many rules that women were supposed to follow back in the day. Not only were you supposed to marry and keep a house but after you had the roast in the oven, women were encouraged to skip to the bathroom and freshen up their face. Rockabilly ladies didn't waste their time with good housekeeping and Vogue, they tied up their permanents and went out swinging to the brand new rock-and-roll music that was taking the world by storm!

This is thin and has wire in it. The thing comes bent on four areas and it’s not easy to flatten out to make a proper headband. Kind of goofy if you ask me. I’ll try again when Halloween arrives but I think I’ll opt for a regular bandana.
