Imagine you show up to the party and someone immediately asks you to sing a welcome song. You don't know the words. Nobody rehearsed this. And yet somehow, standing there in full green plaid, you absolutely commit to it anyway. That's the Munchkin energy — cheerful, oddly formal, and completely unbothered by the situation.
There's something deeply funny about a character whose entire job description is celebrating a stranger's arrival in their neighborhood. You were just living your life, and now you're the welcoming committee. The green stripes and plaid say you've been doing this for years.
Design & Details
This officially licensed Wizard of Oz ensemble includes a short-sleeved plaid shirt, green shorts, striped leggings, and blue faux suede shoe covers that fit right over your existing footwear. The shirt features a white midweight poplin woven base with an all-over printed plaid pattern and button-front closure.
The shorts are made from green poplin with an elastic waistband for easy wear, and the leggings are printed jersey material. Everything is 100% polyester, which means it travels well, photographs well, and handles a full night of enthusiastic welcoming with minimal complaints.
