Design & Details
Standing at an eerie 5 feet 7 inches, this officially licensed animatronic features a plastic head in full “scary face” mode, polyester fabric clothing, and a metal stand to keep Barbara upright while she gets her haunt on. Her head moves side to side while one arm thrusts her creepy little book forward like she’s trying to explain death’s fine print. Bonus: the zipper on the back of the dress adds a fun (and mildly disturbing) detail for Beetlejuice diehards.
Activate Barbara via motion sensor or the Try Me button—both powered by 4 AA batteries (sold separately)—or use a step pad (also sold separately) to catch the living off guard. Volume control lets you set her scare level, and she’s suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor displays (she may be undead, but she still doesn't like rain). If you're plugging her in outside the U.S., an adapter may be needed.

Shes exactly what I wanted to add to my other items. My only complaint would be the sticker on the book was already pealed off. I am sure I can find something to secure it and preserve it. I received the 5.5 ft Beetlejuice Barbara 2 days ago. I was so excited to get it because I do a Beetlejuice setup in my Halloween display. Unfortunately, I got her all put together which only takes about 20 minutes only to find out she didn't work. I did identify the problem as a faulty power adapter. I bought another Animatronic from this site last year and it takes the same power adapter. When I plugged in the other adapter she did work. I have contacted the animatronics manufacturing company to get a replacement power adapter, but have not heard back from them yet.Was this review helpful to you?
