They say that behind every strong Black Panther is a powerful woman making sure the King of Wakanda will survive to see the nation into the next gloried generation. Well, maybe that's not exactly what the expression is, but that doesn't mean it isn't true in this case. It's all about the Dora Milaje, the gathering of Wakandan women from various tribes that train from a young age to be the bodyguards of the royal family.
But, just think about that. How tough does a warrior need to be to become the bodyguard of a literal superhero!? It's no surprise that the training of the Dora Milaje begins quite young. That's the only way that someone like Okoye will become as powerful a fighter as she does. (We'd argue even enough to survive the decimating Snap; it definitely wasn't just luck in Okoye's case!) It makes us all wonder exactly how tough the leader of the Dora Milaje trained as a kiddo.
