So you want to be a witch for Halloween: Good choice! You can definitely go the classic route inspired by the golden age of cinema which involves a hooked nose, a Pilgrim-esque black dress, and a lotttt of green makeup. That's always fun, but perhaps you want something that combines creepy with "come-hither" - or that at least makes the townsfolk think, "Wow, she clearly is a powerful mage: Just look at her clothes! No seamstress could have designed that without using magic."

Create an effect as powerful as a potion's charm when you wear an exclusive Midnight Purple Witch Costume for Women! The ankle-length gown zips up the back and features a black bodice with a gorgeous purple satin inset. Its three-qiuarter-length sleeves have tattered ends that match the jagged edges on the skirt's black, purple, and gray tiers. A built-in petticoat gives the skirt volume. The foam-backed hat features a poseable brim, a faux leather band, a decorative silver buckle, and a band of draped gray cheesecloth.

This costume runs very small. It looks very tattered, which is the point, but this type of tattered style looks tacky. Even though it says it's a women's costume, the XL is incredibly tiny. Height 5'6" | Weight 170 | Size X-LargeThis costume looks really nice in person. I was so excited to put it on. The only problem is that the sleeves are so tight/small I can't put the costume on all the way. The rest of it looks like it would fit fine, if only it could make it up to my shoulders.
