Design & Details
The vibrant blue dress is made from a comfortable polyester-spandex blend, giving it both a flattering fit and playful stretch. It zips up the back for easy wear and features foam-backed red suspenders that attach at the shoulders and connect to a bright printed belt. A plush faux fur trim along the hemline brings in a cozy, whimsical touch—true to Rainbow Brite’s iconic look.
The set includes a matching pair of foam-backed leg warmers, striped in rainbow colors and topped with soft faux fur cuffs. The fingerless gloves are printed with cheerful yellow stars and feature elastic finger loops for a secure, comfortable fit. Around the neck, a soft fabric choker adds even more throwback flair with printed stars and an easy hook and loop closure.

I almost never write reviews, but I had the most fun dressing up as Rainbow Brite for Halloween! I’m 5’6”, weigh 185 lbs, and ordered XL. I am always leery about ordering online, but this costume ended up fitting great! It was actually a little roomy, so if you’re 15-20lbs heavier, then I think it would still fit comfortably. I also highly recommend ordering the Twink purse, since it made the costume complete. The quality is very sturdy too. I usually get super hot, but this fabric was breathable and wasn’t itchy. The skirt is short as the other reviews said but some colored tights underneath seemed to complete the costume. So many compliments! I didn't wear the boot covers because I didn't have the right shoes so I chose to wear knee high socks. Based on the sizing chart, a large should have fit, however I ordered an XL and it is too tight in the bust area and does not cover the bottom of my booty. I got the large because I felt like the medium was going to be a bit snug as the waist size is 5 inches in difference and I am just under for the medium. But feel like the medium would have fit. The large is a little big however nothing I can’t pin and make look like it was made for me. I got the purse to go with and really completes the look.
