I bought both the XL and 1X because I was in between sizes. For reference, I am usually a women's size 14. Bra size 38DD, chest measurement is 43", ribcage measurement is 37.5". The XL was too tight and short in the sleeves, and the torso part was also very snug and extremely short. I was happy to see that the shirt on the 1X is a few inches longer in the torso and the elastic on the sleeves is a little looser. However, If you are someone who has "big" arms, you might find the elastic on the sleeves still too tight. The torso for the shirt on the 1X is still snug, but not as much as the XL. However, the skirt elastic seemed to be just as small as the XL. It's pretty snug and it does pinch my sides. I wish the skirt elastic was more giving.

Size 3XReally adorable. My husband's favorite character so I surprised him so I could wear it in disney for him when we go. My only 2 issues are that like everywhere else the sleeves are not wide enough. It seems like people forget that bigger people are not just bigger in the middle. Speaking of the middle the shirt is a belly shirt.
