Penny Always Sees You
At first, she’s quiet. Still. Head down, hands folded, humming softly like a kid waiting patiently for candy. But as anyone who’s met Peekaboo Penny can tell you, she’s not here for treats. She’s here to terrify you beyond belief. When someone gets too close, her head jolts upright, unleashing a blood-curdling scream and maniacal laughter that will send guests running for the exit... or their childhood security blanket.
Don't take your eyes off her. She waits. Then she pounces.
Design & Details
Standing at 5 feet tall, Peekaboo Penny is built on a sturdy metal frame with a plastic base and wears polyester clothes that scream “sweet and suspicious.” Her head stays bowed until activated, then snaps up in a sudden motion to reveal her screaming face and delightfully dead-eyed stare. She doesn't light up—because she doesn't need to. The sound and motion are more than enough.
She features three sound clips: a sing-song “trick or treat,” a quiet “uh-oh,” and a piercing scream layered with creepy laughter. Volume control lets you fine-tune the fright, and she can be triggered by motion sensor, try-me button, or step pad (sold separately). Safe for indoor use or covered outdoor setups—just keep her dry. Use a GFCI outlet outdoors, and note that international use may require a plug adapter (not included).

Updated Penny is Awesome. She does lack the IR sensor though. I wish that would have been incorporated into her rerelease but regardless the jump scare she provides is priceless. The reset of her head going down is flawless everytime. Her up motion scare is perfect and has quite of pep to it. Its always a good idea to make sure to add weight to the base, otherwise she might fall. As an owner of the two previous generations of Penny Wise animatronics.I can honestly say this is the best one yet.

My pre order Penny arrived today and I'm thrilled to have her after years of searching. Arrived in only a few days in her basic cardboard box (no picture box but that's not a problem in my opinion). My only issue with her is that she doesn't seem to have been updated with an IR sensor so her light sensor (behind her glove) would not work in the evening or a darkened room though it worked great in daylight. I thought that on such an iconic prop that an updated sensor would have been common sense (thus the reason for only 4 stars). Apart from that I'm thrilled to finally own her and I'm positive she will have trick or treaters scared silly. she seems well built and her mechanism is fast though I think i'll still be weighing her down Halloween night to make sure she doesn't tip over. A great classic prop has returned.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
