We've been so happy with our costumes from HalloweenCostumes.com in the past but this one was comically bad. I truly thought they just sent me the wrong size, as we ordered a 4T and what we got would barely fit my 20-month-old. I sent photos to customer support and they confirmed everything is exactly as it's supposed to be - no error here. The photo below is this costume (right) next to another 4T costume (left) I bought off the site at the same time for comparison. I get that sizes can vary, but that's ridiculous. We live in Wisconsin so we specifically look for items that are warm to wear - this was described as "soft enough to keep your kid cozy while they plot their next act of mischief," while it's literally transparent. It doesn't match the dimensions of the photo either -- it's not a cozy, wider-legged piece, it's more like a thin, stretchy bodysuit that's narrow all the way down. The ears are much smaller than pictured, though the tail is indeed stuffed with almost overly strong wire inside. Now I get the privilege of printing a return label, boxing, and driving this to the post office because there was no quality control. Really disappointed after years of solid purchases from here, but now it just feels like a gamble.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
