This officially licensed Nintendo costume is a one-piece green jumpsuit made from ultra-soft polyester that’s basically the fabric version of a cozy power-up. The front features a white belly panel, just like Yoshi’s, and the back sports his signature red shell—because no Yoshi look is complete without his stylish turtle backpack situation.
The hood is shaped into Yoshi’s friendly face, complete with big eyes, plush orange spikes, and that wide dino grin we all know and love. It’s attached, so no risk of losing your head mid-pizza run. Bad - the "detachable shell" was not actually in the one I got. The package also said it should be there but it wasn't.
Interesting - The only size measurement that matters is height. The costume is made to be pretty roomy.
The weirdest part is the hood with Yoshi's head. Notice on the pictures that there is loose fabric by the models' faces. You could have a one and a half to two times high head to have it on without the loose fabric. That is only important because Yoshi's nose is a stuffed part that droops and pull the whole hood down over my face. I will have to pin it in the back or figure out how to attach it to my head to make it stay on top. I wish I knew how they fixed it for the model pictures.Was this review helpful to you?
