As in, you really don’t have many other choices if you want to be this character. That said, cost is so high for this costume while quality is lacking. I bought a women’s Optimus Prime costume last year from this site for cheaper, so I had been hopeful in getting the same quality/similar price but that is sadly not to be with the Sergeant Calhoun one.
Very thin, poor quality suit material. Not really stretchy, and baggy in many areas but tight along the back seam. It will most likely rip once I move around/ bend over.
There are multiple Velcro areas that do not have their sticky match throughout for fit and to secure the costume properly. At least 5 areas! Gun holster has one sewn loop seam so is falling apart directly out of the package.
I have thin ankles and the ankle bracelet thingies are very tight on me. The belt is not velcroed well and catches on the suit. It is also not adjustable so the belt is huge on me and keeps falling down.
Suit itself looks ok in pictures but in person is very faded and more gray than black.
You will also want to wear leggings underneath and maybe even skin tone undies as the material is so thin.
If you and your kids like Transformers, I recommend that Prime women’s costume over this one 100%! But my fam is dressing up like Wreck it Ralph characters so Sergeant Calhoun it is for me.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
