Victorian Gears and Velvet Drama Done Right
The Women's Steampunk Costume Dress is a complete steampunk look for adult women that includes a printed dress, faux suede glovettes, and a satin hat for Victorian-era dress-up events and theatrical productions. Steampunk lives in a very specific aesthetic neighborhood: somewhere between a Victorian novel and a clock repair shop, and every outfit has to commit accordingly.
This dress earns its place in that neighborhood. The sublimated graphics and faux suede front panel do the heavy lifting, while the satin sleeves and white lace cuffs add the kind of refined detail that sells the whole era. The glovettes slide right on, which means your hands are dressed for the occasion without any complicated accessory decisions at 7pm.
Design & Details
The in-house design team worked out every material choice here with real intentionality, landing on a combination that layers satin, faux suede, poly knit, and lace into one cohesive look. The dress features an elastic bust band for fit, hook and loop fastener closure down the center back, and elastic bands at the cuffs for a clean, tailored finish.
The faux suede glovettes are a standout touch. They pull the whole ensemble together from wrist to fingertip without any fussing. The satin hat completes the silhouette and gives the look that final vertical punctuation it needs.
