We love how every era has some kind of iconic footwear. I read several reviews for this boot on this and other websites before purchasing. Everyone says the same thing, the calf and will be tight if you have athletic or thick legs. I sized up because I have somewhat wide feet and wanted to be able to zip the boot up. If i ordered my regular size, the boot would have fit and have room since its a wide toe box; however, I know the boot wouldn't zip. The one size up I ordered, does zip with some effort! I put shoe inserts in for added comfort as these might hurt if walking for a while. The insert does help with the sizing as well. I would recommend the company making footwear for wide size feet and legs! Size Size 9Boots came in earlier than expected and I was pleasantly surprised. They look like the picture especially for being such a vibrant color, and fit true to size as well. Overall great boots, if you’re thinking about ordering them just do it.
