The Wailing Phantom Animatronic stands an eerie 7 feet tall and looks like he just drifted out of an abandoned crypt with a few very unresolved issues. Draped in tattered gray robes and clutching a flickering lantern, this terrifying specter isn’t just here to haunt—he’s here to make sure you don’t sleep again until November.
He moves. He moans. And his glowing eyes follow your soul straight into the afterlife.
Design & Details
This full-sized animatronic includes a metal stand, power cord, and an instruction sheet to guide you through summoning him from the underworld (or, you know, plugging him in). Made with molded plastic and creepy polyester fabric, the Wailing Phantom sways his lantern as he groans out eerie phrases that sound like they've been echoing in the void for centuries.
Built-in volume control, a try-me button, motion sensor activation, and compatibility with a step pad (sold separately) give you full command over the scares. He’s great for indoor setups or covered outdoor locations—as long as he stays dry. If placed outdoors, plug him into a GFCI outlet so your phantom doesn't become a shocking memory.

I love this prop and have been waiting for a year before I finally found it on here for the best price. It is haunting, has a great voice and animated eyes. The rising and stooping from a 7-ft height makes it imposing and the lantern light is a really cool touch. It is easy to put together and take back apart for storage.
The volume control is also super appreciated - so many animatronics don't include that.
The only 2 problems I ran into were 1) the "spine" support bracket slips right out the back of the robe. There is no real way to keep it covered even with the velcro closures and 2) there was no warning not to remove the styrofoam from the arms. I tore it off when I unpacked, thinking it was protective and placed there just as packing material. Unfortunately, the foam is needed to create the illusion of the arms under the robe.
