This exclusive costume is crafted from 81% polyester and 19% cotton and offers comfort and enduring style. The pullover dress is easy to slip on and fastens at the back with a button and elastic loop. Elastic in the back waistband and wrists help the dress stay put. Meanwhile, the flowy balloon sleeves and circle skirt ensure you feel ready to twirl the night away!
The sewn-in apron, complete with embroidered patches and ruffles on the shoulder straps, captures Strawberry Shortcake's familiar whimsy and eliminates any worry of losing the essential accessory. A green band in place of apron strings, secures in the back with a hook-and-loop fastener fit with a perfectly tied bow. Overall the quality of this costume is great and it's super cute! Love that it's accurate to the original Strawberry Shortcake. Had to order one size larger to fit in the bust area. For that reason I wish the bow on the back was actually able to be tied tighter to cinch the waist in a little. The tights are nowhere near being plus sized! Couldn't pull them up past my knees! The long red sleeves - when you push them up to elbow, then it's not as tight across the shoulders and upper arm area. Otherwise, there is some restriction when the sleeves are fully extended and you want to move your arms forward or reach up.
On the back, the dress closure around neck: is a very tiny button and little loop. I decided to wear the costume with it undone.
The tights: first try, they didn't fit; couldn't get on completely. I decided to try again the next day and this time was able to get them on because they were a bit more stretched out at that point.
I wish it came with a little pocket to hold keys or a cell phone on the red part of dress.
I almost wish the apron was separate from the dress, but it also works attached. If it DID come in two parts, I could be more confident about washing the costume so that the red doesn't bleed into the white apron.
I love the hat!

This costume fits great, EXCEPT for the bust. I am not a big busted girl. I am a C cup, but the bust is a bit tight. I had NO issues at all with the tights fitting me. Some of the leg areas might be a little snug where it bunched up a bit, but I only wore the costume to try it on. I will figure out the tights when it comes time to wear it for the day. The material is much thicker and nicer than I thought. The hat is stuffed beautifully and the costume is exactly as pictured.
