Real bullfighting sounds...well...kinda violent. For both the person and the bull. And while we know it’s an age-old cultural custom, there also doesn’t seem to be a lot of job security. And benefits? We think not.
But PRETEND bullfighting? We say, “Ole!” to that. When my son announced that he wanted to be a matador for Halloween, I had no idea how to come up with a costume. I did an internet search and he chose this one because it had a fancy red cape. I arrived yesterday and he loved it! All of the pieces are there, except for a white dress shirt and black shoes, which we have. The details in person are much more impressive, he loves to swish the cape, and the matador hat looks adorable on him. Of course it arrived packaged, and therefore wrinkled, but we have it on a hanger and those wrinkles are dropping out. I will use a light iron if needed and it will be spectacular!
