A Ghastly Guide

Imagine that you're deep in the wilderness, looking for who you are, deep down inside. The light is failing. The bushes rustle. And your animal guide steps out. What do you see? Is it a stately noble lion that will help you get in touch with your brave side? Or perhaps it's a garter snake, sliding up to you from the ground, its tongue tattooing a secret message as it approaches.

But if you're on this page, your guide might be this ghastly bunny. We don't know what this rabbit has to say about your inner spirit. And we don't know how you'd keep calm while you sit alone in the twilight as this bunny walks out of the woods. But we do have to imagine that you'll learn a lot from your ghastly guide. For instance, how to deal with nightmares on an everyday basis.

Design & Details

This eerie rabbit costume was designed by our in-house creative team. The suit is made of faux fur and has a thick, shaggy white belly. The sleeves end with clawed gloves with felt claws and make your hands seem oversized. The mask falls over your head with faux fur around your whole head. The silver rabbit face has molten latex facial features and pointy rabbit ears. Holes in the eyes, nose, and mouth let you see and breathe. With an over-sized fit, this costume can easily be layered over fitted clothing to make it a great pick for chilly October nights.

HOP TO IT

Are you ready to get in touch with your animal guide? You'll have a lot of fun when you slip into this shaggy, eerie rabbit look. This costume is a great option for music videos, skits, and costume parties. Whether you're walking the streets of suburbia or having a photoshoot in the woods, this bunny costume makes for a wonderfully ghastly look!

Questions & Answers

Q: Im 6'4, would an XL be long enough for me? (1 Answer)
Asked by BlueBeast | October 27, 2026
Monster Responds...
The XL has a jumpsuit length of 65 inches, so for someone at 6'4" (76 inches) it will likely fall shorter than a full-length fit, which is pretty typical for a jumpsuit on a taller frame. Compare your measurements to the size chart to be sure it works for you.

Q: I’m 6,1 and around 180-190lb kinda bulky and was wondering if XL would fit me? (1 Answer)
Asked by Dakota | October 20, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 6'1" and your build, the XL looks like a solid option, with a 51 inch chest, 51 inch waist, 31.5 inch inseam, and a 65 inch jumpsuit length that should work well for your height. That said, measure your chest and waist and compare them to the size chart to be sure you get the right fit.

Q: I'm 5'6 and 185 pounds. What size would fit best? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 19, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 5'6" and 185 lbs, the Standard could be a good fit, with a 50 inch chest, 50 inch waist, and a 59 inch jumpsuit length. Compare your chest and waist measurements to the size chart to be sure, since those are the key numbers for a jumpsuit like this.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: Im 5’ 8” , 248 pounds, a 34” waist. What size should I get (1 Answer)
Asked by Dave | October 18, 2026
Monster Responds...
With a 34" waist, your body measurement falls well within the waist listed for the Standard size, which has a 50" waist and a 59" jumpsuit length, though at 5'8" the X-Large with its 65" jumpsuit length and 51" waist might give you a better overall fit. Compare your chest and torso measurements to the size chart to be sure you land on the right one.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: at 5’9 130lbs what’s the best fitting size without the sleeves being long but the suit fitting loose and comfortable? (1 Answer)
Asked by Max | October 18, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 5'9" and 130 lbs, the Medium could work well for a loose, comfortable fit with a 46" chest and 46" waist, while the 26" sleeve length should land at a reasonable spot on your arm without being overly long. The Standard size steps up to a 50" chest and 26.5" sleeve if you want even more room. Compare your own measurements to the size chart to be sure you land where you want.

Q: I'm a 5'8" male and 120 lbs. What size should I get? I ordered the XS but it was definitely too small. (1 Answer)
Asked by Jonathan | October 16, 2026
Monster Responds...
Since the XS was too small, the Small might be a good next step, with a 44 inch chest, 44 inch waist, and a 56 inch jumpsuit length. At 5'8" the Small's inseam of 28 inches could work well for you. Compare your chest and waist measurements to the size chart to be sure you land in the right size.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: I am 5’ 11” and 120 lbs. I have a 24” waist and 32” inseam. Would a medium size work or do I have to get an XL for it to fit? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 16, 2026
Monster Responds...
With a 32" inseam, the XL is worth a close look since it has a 31.5" inseam and a 65" jumpsuit length, which will give you the most length for your height. The Medium has a 28" inseam and a 57.5" jumpsuit length, which may run short on a 5'11" frame. Compare your measurements to the size chart to be sure.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: im 5 feet tall and wear a small or extra small what size should i get (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 14, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 5 feet tall, the XS with a 55 inch jumpsuit length and 42 inch chest, or the Small with a 56 inch jumpsuit length and 44 inch chest, are both worth a look. Compare your chest and torso measurements to the size chart to be sure you get the right fit.

At 5'6" and 125 lbs, the Small could work well, with a 56-inch jumpsuit length, 44-inch chest, and 28-inch inseam. Compare your chest and torso measurements to the size chart to be sure you get the right fit.

Q: I'm 5'10 weighing at 71kg what is the perfect size for me? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 12, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 5'10" and 71kg, the Standard size could work well, with a 59" jumpsuit length, 50" chest, and 28" inseam. That said, height and weight alone don't tell the whole story with costume sizing, so measure your chest and waist and compare those numbers to the size chart to be sure you land on the right fit.

Q: How can I wash this costume properly? Can I throw it in the wash or would I have to wash it by hand? (1 Answer)
Asked by cassienova | October 5, 2026
Monster Responds...
The jumpsuit is made from faux fur with an acrylic, polyester, and modacrylic blend, and the mask includes a molded latex face panel, so we recommend hand washing the jumpsuit in cool water with a gentle detergent and keeping the latex mask away from water entirely. Spot cleaning the mask with a damp cloth is the safest approach for that piece.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: Would standard size be good for someone 5,9 180 lbs if they want it a little baggy? I’m deciding between XL and ST since reviews say they run a little smaller than stated sizing. (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 5, 2026
Monster Responds...
For someone 5'9" and 180 lbs who wants a baggy fit, the XL is likely the better call. The Standard has a 59" jumpsuit length and 28" inseam, which may run short for your height, while the XL stretches to a 65" jumpsuit length and 31.5" inseam, giving you much more room through the legs. With a 51" chest and waist, the XL will also give you that roomy, oversized look you're after.

Q: I am a 5 foot woman with a medium size in women’s, what size of suit would work best? (1 Answer)
Asked by Banana | October 4, 2026
Monster Responds...
At 5 feet tall with a women's Medium, the Small could work well for you since its 57.5-inch jumpsuit length in Medium is likely to run long, and the Small's 56-inch length with a 44-inch chest may suit your frame better. Comparing your chest and waist measurements to our size chart is the surest way to land on the right fit.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: Is the height included with the head? Because it says that extra large is 165 cm (1 Answer)
Asked by Friedshwaffle  | January 28, 2026
Monster Responds...
The 165 cm figure refers to the jumpsuit length, not the total height including the mask. Our size chart measures the jumpsuit itself, so the hooded mask would add to your overall height while wearing the costume. For the best fit, compare your own measurements to the chart, particularly the jumpsuit length and inseam.

Q: My suit came to me all in one color pattern. It did not have the white chest as advertised. Is this there supposed to be an additional piece of fabric attached? (1 Answer)
Asked by Alexander | October 13, 2025
Monster Responds...
The jumpsuit is made with two different faux fur materials: a short pile faux fur for the main body and a long pile white faux fur for the front chest area, so the white chest panel is part of the jumpsuit itself rather than a separate attached piece. If yours arrived without that contrast, it sounds like something may have gone wrong with your order, and we want to make it right for you.

Asked by Alexander | October 13, 2025
Monster Responds...
The jumpsuit is made with two different faux fur materials: a short pile faux fur for the main body and a long pile white faux fur for the front chest area. Those are sewn together as one piece, so there is no separate fabric to attach. If your suit arrived without the white chest panel, we want to make that right for you, and reaching out to us directly will get you taken care of.

Q: What is the sizing for the standard size costume? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 8, 2025
Monster Responds...
The Standard size has a 50" chest, 50" waist, 32" torso, 26.5" sleeve length, 59" jumpsuit length, and a 28" inseam. Comparing those measurements to your own is the surest way to confirm the right fit.

Q: Does this costume come in XL child size? (1 Answer)
Asked by Mema | September 26, 2025
Monster Responds...
This is an adult costume, sized by body measurements rather than child sizing. The smallest size has a 42" chest and 55" jumpsuit length, so comparing your child's measurements to our size chart is the best way to see if any size could work for them.

Q: Hello! Can I order just the suit without the mask? And if só how much would it be?
Thanks you in advance! (1 Answer)

The costume is sold as a complete set, so the jumpsuit and hooded mask ship together and aren't available separately. The price shown on the page covers both pieces as one item.

Q: I’m a teenager and I’m about 5’5/5’6 what size should I get? (1 Answer)
Asked by Exe | September 11, 2025
Monster Responds...
At 5'5" to 5'6", the jumpsuit length is the key measurement to look at. The Medium has a 57.5" jumpsuit length and the Standard has a 59" jumpsuit length, so either of those could work depending on how you want it to fall. Compare your chest and waist measurements to those sizes too, since the Medium runs 46" in the chest and waist, and the Standard runs 50", to find the better overall fit.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: I’m 6’2 215 pounds you think a standard would fit or to be safe go a extra large (1 Answer)
Asked by Milo | September 10, 2025
Monster Responds...
At 6'2" the jumpsuit length is the number to watch most closely. The Standard measures 59" in length with a 28" inseam, while the X-Large stretches to 65" with a 31.5" inseam, so the X-Large is likely the better call for your height. Compare your chest and waist measurements to our chart too, since both sizes sit at 50" and 51" respectively, and sizing up is always the safer move when you're near the top of a size.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: is the inside comfortable or should i wear long clothes under? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | September 6, 2025
Monster Responds...
The jumpsuit is lined in 100% polyester, so it has a smooth interior layer against your skin. Most people find a thin base layer adds comfort for longer wear, especially since the outer shell is faux fur, but it's a personal call based on how sensitive your skin is.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: I’m 6’6 but pretty slim, will this costume fit me in an extra large? (1 Answer)
Asked by Will | October 9, 2024
Monster Responds...
At 6'6", the XL's 65" jumpsuit length and 31.5" inseam are likely to run short on you, so fit is the main thing to check carefully against your own measurements. The chest comes in at 51" and the waist at 51", which should work well for a slimmer build. I'd compare your torso and inseam measurements to those XL numbers before deciding, since height is where this one may feel snug.

Q: Hi there, two questions you may be able to help with…. What is the mask face made of? And do you know roughly what sort of size I would need for a 5’10” man average build .
Many thanks (1 Answer)
Asked by Coops | September 29, 2023
Monster Responds...
The mask face is a molded latex panel with a faux fur hood, so it has that rigid, sculpted look that makes Frank so iconic. For a 5'10" man with an average build, the X-Large could work well, with a 65" jumpsuit length and a 31.5" inseam that should suit your height nicely. Comparing your chest and waist measurements to our size chart is the surest way to land on the right fit.
(AI Generated Answer)

Q: Is the mask part of the costume come separately unattached to the suit? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | September 8, 2022
Monster Responds...
This costumes includes a full head mask has molded latex face panel and faux fur hood.

Q: Can you take this to the dry cleaners to wash? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | August 14, 2022

Most of the time there's a tag with care instructions, otherwise, we recommend hand washing or spot cleaning and hanging it to dry.

Most reviewers are quite pleased with this Frank the Bunny costume, praising the quality of the fur suit, its movie-accurate appearance, and good value for the price, with the XL fitting well for people around 5'10" and 185-200 lbs. The main drawbacks noted across reviews are the latex mask's poor visibility through tiny eye slits and its tendency to lose shape, requiring DIY modifications like foam in the ears or cardboard supports, and some buyers found the sizing runs small, particularly for taller or larger individuals.

Sheds a little bit, but really great for the price. Mask isn’t the best quality but it matches the suit exactly. Ears need to be propped up with foil so they stand up and I had to leave the mask over a lamp shade to reshape it a bit. Overall very happy with it though!

I’m a 5’10”, 150lb woman and went with the XL. I was worried about length, the XL was roomy but perfect.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

    Good Base Cosplay, Runs Small
    By Cricket  | May 31, 2023
I had purchased this based on a recommendation I'd read about it being fairly close to what's seen on screen in Donnie Darko.  This fursuit is pretty dang close with regards to color and texture.  It's not 100% perfect, but I'm happy with it. Note that I ended up making my own mask; I couldn't get the latex mask to work for my needs at all.

The costume is well made.  The inside is completely lined with poly/acetate, which was unexpected.  The zipper is in the front, and you have to make sure that the fur is pushed off to the side so your zipper doesn't get stuck.  It's not all that difficult to do.  The hood/mask is also fully lined.  It's a comfortable costume, at least when you don't have the mask/hood on.

Okay, so about the latex mask... ugh.  I bought this costume with full intentions of 3d printing out my own Frank the Bunny mask, so I didn't really care about the quality of the mask included with this costume.  But maaan...don't expect any sort of high quality on this at all.  The mask needs a lot of work to reshape it.  The eye holes are practically impossible to see through, and the hood needs desperate modification to sit properly on your head without sliding around.  I'm probably going to install a face shield head band (removing the face shield, of course) to keep the hood and mask in place on my head.

I ordered a size medium because that was all that was in stock at the time. I am 5'4" and 112lbs, and it fits me comfortably.   I think a size small would have been too small for my frame.  The gloves are kind of large, though.  I will probably add in some foam to bulk the fingers out a bit.  I'm also going to be adding some 7" platform boots to this to elevate my overall height.

Overall, this is a good base for a Frank the Bunny cosplay.  You wouldn't be able to sew one with this quality for the same price (fur by the yard is expensive!).

Expect to make your own Frank the Bunny mask, and you will have an epic costume.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

    Great Costume and Great Value
    By Anonymous  | October 8, 2020
    Height 5'10 | Weight 200lbs | Size X-Large
I did lots of research trying to find the best Frank the Rabbit costume and concluded that this was the one to take a gamble on. I was concerned because of mixed reviews, but all the options had mixed reviews. But this looked the closest to the movie original so I thought I would take a gamble and worst case I might have to modify it or go through the hassle of returning. My concerns were fit and the mask looking lame. I purchased the XL and the fit of the body suit is perfect for me (I'm 5'10" 200lbs, husky/muscular build). If you are over six feet, you may want to get the XXL. The mask looks awesome, but since it is latex, it is a little flimsy. But it appears solid to other people and the detail is great. To help with rigidity, I put some foam in the ears, which makes them perky. Also, to keep the cheeks from collapsing, I cut a cardboard tube (from an aluminum foil roll) to length with angled ends and taped it inside the mask. This make the whole mask more stiff, like a frame and it works perfectly. There is plenty of room inside the mask. I can even rest the tube on my chin which affords a bit of hands free control of the mask and helps me line up the small slits with my eyes. As others have said, visibility is poor, but I can see out, even if it is only one hole at a time. Totally worth it because it looks fantastic and scary AF, especially in dim light which adds to the creepiness. I have no regrets buying this costume. Looks just like the product photos. For ~100 bucks, it is a great value. You could not DIY this for that amount. The gloves are awesome too, with openings so you can use your hands as needed without removing the body suit. Also, the quality of the fur is excellent, soft and thick, but it does shed. I put mine in the dryer on the lowest setting to remove the loose stuff. Also, the zipper is on the front and it takes some patience to close because of the fur, but once closed, it is well hidden. Lastly, hats off to HalloweenCostumes.com which delivered in 3 days on the slowest shipping choice which was 10 days faster than the estimate at checkout. Great service!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

    Soooooo Small
    By Gene  | September 9, 2026
This doesn't just run small. It is a full two sizes smaller than what you would normally wear. Their size guide is way way way off. I had to pay for all the shipping when they were the ones that incorrectly labeled their sizing.

This costume fits a 5'6" 250lb person, with short arms and the largest head you have ever seen. If this describes you, great. If not the arms will be short, the mask will sit like a pillow case, and the shoulder to crotch length will be tight.

    By Jorge  | September 30, 2025
    Height 6'3" | Weight 229 | Size X-Large
The mask is OK for a Halloween costume, but it's impossible to see through the tiny eye cut outs. It also doesn't stay positioned on your head, so it requires constant repositioning. The quality of the bunny suit is OK, but stitching could be better and more durable. The Velcro that keeps the suit together on the front needs more overlap so that whatever you're wearing underneath isn't visible. The largest size is not suitable for someone 6 feet + tall. All things considered, this is a suit that might cost little to make but you're paying a premium for it. It's not as if there are many other options though. It might be one of the better Frank costumes out there.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I couldn't be happier! I've been wanting this costume for years, even made my own 20 years ago. The mask needs some modifications for the ears and eye holes but nothing I couldn't manage to make it better! I go the XL and am glad, it fits perfectly for me with some room but if I were any larger or taller it probably would be a tight fit.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

    Not worth the price
    By Matt  | April 5, 2024
This costume feels like junk and the mask is not shaped well at all. The eyes are solid latex so you only have two small slits to see out of rendering you mostly blind while wearing it, and as other reviewers have noted the mask doesn’t hold shape well at all. I would not recommend buying this if you intend to wear it for extended periods or multiple times. Overall extremely disappointed at how poorly made this is for the cost.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
