Monkeying Around
Nothing is more satisfying than driving around town in your go-kart. You get a nice relaxed ride and some fresh air, without any of the stress of racing. Until you turn onto Rainbow Road, that is. As soon as you hit that light on Rainbow Road, you know things are about to go ape.
That’s when you pop a banana in your mouth, hold the peel in an overhead toss position, and get ready to blast off. SCREEEEEE! As you launch from the start with a boost, it is almost too easy to toss your peel in front of the other racers and take an early lead. Keeping the lead is the hard part, you remember, as the shadow of a dreaded blue shell appears in front of you. That’s bananas.

It is molded plastic with an elastic strap to hold it in place, just like the real Donkey Kong doesn’t have!
