Standing a full 72 inches tall and 24 inches deep and wide, this animatronic is a genuine presence in any room. His head spins between his happy face and his scared face as he delivers actual sound clips from the film, including pleading for Jack, boasting about Halloween Town, and spiraling through every desperate situation in between. The molded hands and faces capture his expressive style precisely.
His foam-supported hat stays upright at full movie-accurate height, and his high-quality clothing is fitted to the animatronic with a zippered back for clean construction. Every piece reflects the care that goes into bringing a beloved character to life at full scale.

I don't want to be overly harsh, as their customer service has ALWAYS been top tier. And this is no different. However it saddens me that for 300 bucks(before shipping and taxes) I have to right anything but a 5 star review. I have technically yet to receive a replacement but my first copy was just slop. The head was crushed, the whole things stability was trash. I do believe mine was a defect because i have watched other peoples personal videos and mine does not behave the same way. Regardless, they are sending me a replacement and i appreciate the service. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! One little problem on his happy face part of his pink lips were rubbed off.
I notified Halloween and they gave me a small discount. The same thing happened with lock, shock and barrel paint was rubbed off. Maybe manufacturing should package a little better.

Second item I buy, damage. Face paint peeling. When head turns it's kinda stuck. Called Halloween Costume, and they replacing it. Other than that I really love the mayor and the boogie boys i bought, even though they were damaged. As long as they replaced them or money back, there’s no problem with me. Love that we now have a mayor character now. Unfortunately one of the welds supporting the arm is broken on the one I recieved. That makes the arm sag and will have to find a fix for it. Also one of the locking pieces wouldnt snap together even after several attempts. This animatronic looks just like the mayor character from the Nightmare Before Christmas Movie. The head, feet, and hands are made of a good quality plastic (not easy to dent in). it is easy to assemble, and also light in weight. The overall fabric is typical for a Halloween animatronic. However, when I first removed his head from the protective plastic bag large chunks of paint came off of both his front teeth and also his lower lip. His sound overall is fine, but for some reason when he says the line, "Jack answer me, ahhhhh" the audio dips and sounds like he's mumbling to himself, and it is noticeable. The head spinning action is another interesting issue. If you chose to buy the mayor, I would recommend that you don't tighten the coat in the back. I first had the coat zipped up to the back of his neck, and then I used the Velcro tabs to tighten the suit around the neck (as I thought you were supposed to do). The head did not spin. I had to unzip the zipper approximately 3 inches down, loseley connect the edges of the Velcro taps, and gently pull the metal bars that create his shoulders apart for the head to spin. I don't know if this is how all these animatronics are created, or if mine just has a weak motor? Would I recommend this? I am going to say no? I guess If you are a huge Nightmare Before Christmas Fan and you always wanted the mayor character then even with its flaws you'd probably really enjoy it. He is pretty good, but has a flaw. First is his head spinning, if the shirt is zipped all the way it doesn't allow it to turn. When I received him the mouth paint was chipped off pretty bad, but I did reach out and they did rectify the situation. My first shipment the Mayor came in damaged but cause of the excellent customer service Halloween Costumes shipped out a brand new one and I got 2 days later!! The mayor is awesome!
