Groovy, Baby
There were a lot of things about the '60s to love. The music brought us everything from The Rolling Stones and The Kinks to The Who and, of course, the Beatles. (Really a lot of The bands, now that we think about it.) And the outfits. They were far out. Bright colors, and suede vests. The more you could stand out, the better. Well, usually. We suppose there is one arena where you'd want to blend in.
Spy movies came out to bring us a ton of adventure, not to mention style. The classic 007 was pretty stellar, encouraging a ton of Martinis, shaken not stirred, and suave men being awesome. But did they really have the same captivating energy as the rest of the 1960s? Blend both into a single amazing character costume and upgrade your great look to groovy.
Design & Details
Now, you can be a swinging '60s spy. Just put on this Deluxe Blue '60s Swinger Costume. You'll be dancing to Jumpin' Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones as you put on this velvet jacket, velvet pants, and velvet vest. The long-sleeved jacket has a velvety look thanks to flocking, all with a rayon base for extra comfort. Lace cuffs give you the perfect '60s twist while elastic in the trousers make for a modern fit. The vest fastens with hook and loop tape and the cravat brings the ensemble together!

When the costume arrived it was wrinkled so I had to have it dry-cleaned to get the wrinkles out another, Over all I was very happy with the quality of the costume, not happy with the the overall experience of ordering the costume. I will use them again though because of the quality of the costumes.

As the car is a British Built 1969 Triumph TR6 sports car, I figured Austin Powers was a perfect fit. This is a cute costume. My husband is about a Large, but ordered an XL to be safe. The vest is velcro along the back. I wish there was a way for a bit more adjustment on the vest, but the jacket is good and the pants have elastic waist. Costume has good "body", does not feel limp or cheap. Recommend taking it to dry cleaners before wear to steam and press - totally perfect for the Austin Powers look we were going for. Height 6' | Weight 200lbs | Size LargePerfect. Of course it was a bit wrinkled due to shipping. I pulled it out and hung it up to smooth them out. I will likely lightly steam or iron before I wear it to my Halloween Party. I have a 34" waist and 34" inseam and wear 44 suit coat.
