Who Said That?
Dolls in general can be creepy. Those big staring eyes, those emptily smiling mouths...*shudders.* But a doll that's designed to look like it's talking when someone else is speaking the words? That's nightmare material for sure! Because what if it actually starts talking all on its own? (That would certainly never happen...)

Questions & Answers
Q: Does the dummy just make noises or actually talks, saying phrases like “ don’t put me back in the box” ?
(1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
Our information describes the dummy as having a moving mouth with sounds, but doesn't specify whether those sounds include spoken phrases like that one. What we can tell you is that the head moves side to side, the eyes light up, and the mouth moves along with the sounds, activated either by a step pad or a built-in sound sensor.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Does this thing have shoes? There's no indication of it in the parts list. Thank you (1 Answer)
Asked by Kaiser Sose | September 13, 2026
Monster Responds...
Shoes are not included with this decoration. The dummy comes with a jacket, shirt front with bow tie, vest, and pants, and that's the full set of clothing pieces that ship with it.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Can I get a model like the ventriloquist dummy so that I can reprogram it? Or add blue tooth speaker to it? Then keep the animation going but the voice would then be Bluetooth and maybe add a recording device so it could speak to the human in real time?
I would make a small trained language models designed for this dummy who could speak in real time. (1 Answer)

That's a genuinely creative project. The dummy's battery and mechanics compartment is accessible through the back of the shirt, which opens via a hook and loop fastener, so you do have a way in to work with the internals. Whether the existing speaker and motor wiring can be bypassed or extended for a Bluetooth setup is a modification question that goes beyond what we can speak to, since this is designed as a self-contained decoration running on 3 AA batteries with its own built-in sounds and motion mechanics.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: So I’m kind of disappointed to learn that this is sound activated. How well does that work? Wish it were motion activated. (1 Answer)
Asked by Britneybear | July 25, 2025
Monster Responds...
Good news: this dummy actually gives you two activation options. With the switch set to "on," the sound sensor takes over, triggering the head movement, light-up eyes, and moving mouth whenever it picks up nearby noise. Flip the switch to "off" and the included step pad becomes the trigger instead, which works a lot like motion activation since someone has to physically step on it to set him off.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Is the audio a good quality or fuzzy at all? And does it actually come with a step pad?
(1 Answer)
Asked by AydinS | December 26, 2022
Monster Responds...
Yes, the step pad is included. On audio quality, we don't have a spec for that, but the dummy does have a moving mouth synced with sounds, so the effect is designed to feel like a full performance. The step pad triggers the activation when the switch is set to off, and the sound sensor takes over when the switch is on.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Hello, is there an IR sensor and an AC power supply port for this animatronic? Thanks!! (1 Answer)
Asked by Tom | December 11, 2022
Monster Responds...
This animatronic runs on 3 AA batteries and does not have an AC power port or an IR sensor. It activates two ways: via the included step pad, or via a built-in sound sensor that triggers when it detects noise nearby.(AI Generated Answer)

Very nice. When I received him the paint on his eye was messed up so one eye is blue and and one is black. You only see it when his eyes light up. I'm sure I can fix it myself so I did not bother with emailing company or sending back. I am very happy with him! He is not as scary looking as a real ventriloquist dummy, but still gives the fun creepy vibe! Good price for what you are getting. Very happy with my purchase .Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Creepy Ventriloquist DummyBy PirateGizmo | October 12, 2022
